Recipe for pig belly with sauce and potatoes
/ @in This recipe we show you how to prepare a tasty pig belly that is refined with a delicious beer marinade. Perfect for special occasions or a cozy dinner!
*Ingredients:*
1 kg of pork belly
salt to taste
0.5 l of beer
2 large onions
4 big cloves of garlic
50 g margarine
dry garlic
ground black pepper
smoked paprika powder
1 teaspoon of baking powder
Pre -boiled potatoes and carrots for garnish
*Preparation:*
1. ** Prepare pork belly: **
-Cut the pork belly into pieces and put it in a 1-liter glass.
Season with salt to taste and pour beer with about 0.5 liters. Close the lid and let the marinade steep for about 30 minutes.
2. ** Cut vegetables: **
Roughly chop the onions in half rings and the garlic.
3. ** Fry: **
After 30 minutes, remove the marinated pieces out of the glass and put it in a preheated pan.
Season with dry garlic, black pepper and smoked paprika powder.
Fry the pieces in 50 g of melted margarine, apply regularly.
4. ** Steam: **
Cover the pan after 15 minutes and simmer for 5-7 minutes so that the flavors pull through well.
5. ** Prepare onions and garlic: **
Take out the pork belly pieces and place on a plate. In the same pan, fry the onions and garlic for about 3 minutes.
6. ** Finish: **
Add a teaspoon of baking powder, crush the delicate garlic with a fork and put the pork belly pieces back into the pan.
Add the remaining beer out of the marinade and simmer for 20 minutes on low heat.
7. ** Serve: **
Arrange the finished pig belly together with pre -boiled potatoes and carrots.
Pour the sauce out of the pan over it and enjoy it!
