A speeder ride through Grawn, Michigan

I recall those rails running East-West. Worked at Interlochen Academy in the 2000s and saw the occasional rolling stock parked along there various years. That's cool! Do you trailer the speeder and take it around Michigan? Great videos.

Thanks, yes we do and we go out of the state too we just got into the hobby so we haven’t done many runs. But that speeder sure has been around from California to Nova Scotia it’s been just about everywhere.

Gorgeous fall colors by rail... I grew up near here and remember when this line had commercial rail traffic. Sadly, no longer.

Yelp. This is old C&O line that had rail traffic from 1947 to 1982, even though I was born in 2004. I wish this line were restored by building new tracks but these tracks are deteriorating. But thankfully railbiking people make it better.

Actually the tracks are still in good shape, but ballast and ties need to be replaced.

They are not Abandoned, they are owned by the state of michigan and are being leased by wheels on rails llc.

So what's the laws when it comes to operating a speeder on track's if your using your own? I'm assuming your only aloud on abandoned not used tracks but I could be wrong regardless cool video

Tracks are not abandoned. They are owned by Great Lakes Central Railroad leased to Wheels On Rails rail biking business. We worked there during the summer. Have access to the track for maintenance and cleaning.
