What a wonderful poem! I found it very moving and profound. It struck a chord in me and I cannot remember when I was last stirred up so much by a piece of writing. Magical stuff indeed! Thank you.

I am so excited that you've invited us into your library for a spell. You're very welcoming too! I really enjoy your reflections on the magical power of language and all the little etymological connections you so often make. I've been sharing some of your reflections with my literary friends and just last night I read some of Coleridge's poem about the bower prison over Zoom to a friend who was lamenting that she'd lost all the social activities that she'd previously used to fill her life with joy. So, you've been great. Not to mention, you also feel like family to me, mannerisms and all, and look like you could be my dad or one of my uncles: we don't stand too near the barber either! I hope you keep us enchanted with many more spells in the library. Peace and blessings from Australia.

Thanks Xavier, I want this to be a friendly and familiar thing, I'm glad its reaching Australia, and yes indeed, I keep my distance from clippers and shears!

An excellent poem and talk! I believe the most spellbound language and most universal is music 🎵. Thanks you for your videos. Kind regards, SF.

I loved this experience, Malcolm. Spells and Summoners. Things as they are/Are changed upon the blue guitar. Wonderful to have some joy and mystery in these strange days.

A friend of ours sent us your September 22 celebration and now we are enjoying the series from the start. It was wonderful to see the spell at work. When you read from the "Singing Bowl" you turned 20 years younger! What golden moments, these.

You truly are a spell for the refreshment of the spirit. You’re rekindling in me a love of literature....not a mean feat for a 73 year old hehe.

There is something about your poetry that sends breaths of shivers over my skin. It is like listening to an orchestra playing summer.

What is 'Judeo-christian' culture? Do the Muslims talk about Judeo-Islamic' culture?
@MalcolmGuitespell
@MalcolmGuitespell Жыл бұрын
Judeo- Christian refers to a culture formed by the Jewish and Christian scriptures,, though of course there are many common stories and characters there shared by the Koran, but I think it fair to say that Muslim culture, in all its rich splendour, is a distinct culture from from the Judea-Christian one. That is not a value judgement, of course, just an observation, Chinese and Indian cultures are also in that sense equally rich but also equally different
