Kyle, you look like you are a Norwegian or a Swede. As you know there are many Minnesotans with that ethnicity. My grandfather immigrated from Norway when he came to Minnesota at the turn of the century!

I have a few suggestions 😊 on your cast iron you should use wooden or plastic untensil, not metal so not to scratch it and also you should put your hair back when cooking ,noticed you had a ponytail holder on your arm but never used it! Just few tips! lol
@skeeterspringshomestead Жыл бұрын
I prefer using wood and stainless steel utensils for cooking! Even if it does scratch the cast iron a little. I try to be careful
@catfishm.1361 Жыл бұрын
@@skeeterspringshomestead Don’t worry even if cast iron would scratch, that much, iron is the only metal safe to cook and eat from. Copper, aluminum, brass, or stainless steel are metals unsafe to consume if scratched off during cooking. Especially first 3 not good for cooking in at all. Your hair is fine, your food always looks so good! 👍🏻🙏🏻

How do you make tea?
@wendysplace3867 Жыл бұрын
@@skeeterspringshomestead I put a tea bag without the paper tag attached. Bring it to a boil. Do like my mother did. Put a tiny bit of baking soda in it to take out the bitterness. Then add it to the pitcher, then sugar. Then the rest of the water. I just copy my mother :) Yours is very interesting. I like it!

If you like spicy, get wild arugula seeds to plant. It comes back from reseeding each year. The rocket arugula can come back but doesn’t reseed as easily or make it through winter! I love it and kale fresh out of the garden after spinach is gone! Start your snow peas now to set out before your warmer weather crops! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Love seeing the chicks. I’ve just rescued hens from a battery (caged farm). I doubt I could rear broilers as I’d get too attached especially as they all have different personalities. Admire people who can raise their livestock for food. I’d starve if it came to that lol.

Just my opinion, you should have left your name in the channel name in some way like cierra's homestead. A woman's name in the channel name might seem more inviting and welcoming to new females looking for a homesteading channel more for females. Only returning viewers will know who sceeter is. I could be wrong, but just my opinion. Glad to see new videos though

It’s spring time here in Minnesota. We are constantly in and out with muddy boots. Why not just clean ONCE at the end of the day instead of all day long when it’s going to just get dirty AGAIN
@katedee5890 Жыл бұрын
@@skeeterspringshomestead You really aren't too bright. Seriously. It's spring time everywhere in the northern hemisphere. 🤣 My home doesn't look like that because I keep it neat and clean for my family. Your floors and windows have always been filthy. It's not just the muddy boots. Your floors have all kinds of debris all over them. Pick/sweep that stuff up. Nasty! Stop being so lazy and dirty. And rinse your dishes with clear/clean water after you wash them with dish detergent. No common sense. How many more times are you going to change the name of your channel? How many does this name change make? Three/four times now? 🤣
