Of course he's also in the worlds and next year's uk open but he was already in those. He's gonna be in every single ranking major for the next 12 months, this result is a lifechanging result, you cannot help but be happy for the guy!

Absolutely deserved Title for Pikachu. A 10 Darter in the decider against MvG was unbelievable good. Then in the Final not his completely a game with the score, but a 100% Checkquote is absolutely phenomenal and a premiere for a final i think. He can be together with Clemens and Schindler the next big thing in German Darts in the near future

How does he manage to stay so cool? Amazing stuff, given the magnitude of the task. You see him performing some breathing exercises, grounding himself by breathing into his palm and doing everything in his own time, but its all easier said than done. Just incredible performance to hit 8/8 doubles in his first euro tour final!

Being 100% in The final on The doubles is out of this world but even crazier is that he was also 7/9 in The semi final with 77% on doubles against MvG. So in The last Two games he played with a combined checkout of more than 88%. Just incredible

Absolutely UNBELIEVABLE. Darts regularly produces such amazing stories and what a story ive witnessed in Hildesheim this weekend. The first time i saw Ricardo Pietreczko earlier this year on the Pro Tour, i instantly liked his demeanour and reactions to certain shots even when he hit a bad shot, he was smiling whilst playing and just looks so relaxed whilst playing. Ill be totally honest i didnt have him as one of my picks to win the event this weekend but my word he played fantastic and deserves to win it. He came here to atleast ensure hes in for the European Championship later this month by winning his first match against Mansell, but he went ahead and beat his compatriot in Schindler and even when he beat Killington earlier in the afternoon today, u still wouldnt expect him to achieve what he has today. From 4-1 down against an in form Bunting, he reeled off 5 straight legs to get into the semis against MVG and even then from the 4 semi finalists he would be the last one u would think would win the title. Luke Humphries was playing so so good following on from his Grand Prix win and looked unplayable at times but this is why we love the darts so much and the fact anyone can beat anyone just makes it so watchable and entertaining. In the semis, Ricardo did so well to get to 6-3 but then when MVG got it back to 6-6 and was throwing for the match, it looked like MVG would win it in a last leg decider as he had already done against Cullen and Clemens earlier today but then that leg Ricardo produced under immense pressure was just UNREAL. I mean just to put it into perspective, hes playing MVG for the first time ever, playing in his first Euro tour semi final looking to reach his first ever PDC final and hes in a last leg decider against the darts having just lost 3 consecutive legs against the great MVG and he produces a stunning 10 dart leg finished on D18. The bottle this guy has is crazy. He could have easily wilted or let the pressure of the moment get to him but he just kept playing as if hes in the practice room. Then in the final, as if we needed more proof of how good his bottle is, he goes 100% on his doubles with 8/8 on the outer ring to beat a resurgent Peter Wright. In front of his home crowd, in his first ever PDC final against a legend of the sport, to go perfect on the finishing like that without missing a single dart at double, is simply unheard of. I mean i cant really explain how hard that is to do and yet he just strolled up to the oche and did exactly that. Full credit to him and this will be the best moment in his life up until this point. What a way to finish the European Tour for this year and i cant wait for it next year, these events r my favourites from the non majors.
