I think the choice to move on from Kenny Pickett was a bit premature, even though he requested it. I still wanted to see what he could do under a different offensive coordinator.

Canada was awful but even after he was gone Kenny had one good game right afterwards then largely reverted back to the same old same old. He got outplayed by the living statue Mason Rudolph in the same offense ffs and has been salty ever since. Says a lot about him that he'd prefer to be a benchwarmer than have to compete to be a starter. 13 TDs in 25 games just doesn't cut it. Dude didn't play safe, he played scared to make a mistake. Ben threw sooo many INTs but he almost always threw more TDs. I'd rather have a QB who has 3 TDs 1 INT a game to someone who has 0 in both.

@c0sselburn ummm... I think you're confusing Kenny P with Mitch T, my friend. The reason he only had one good game after Matt Canada is because he literally only played one game after Canada. The offense went for over 400 yd, which is something they had never done under Canada. The next game, he got injured on the opening drive right before they scored, and Mitch took over. Kenny never took another snap after that. In fact, in the 2 years that he was there, he barely played one seasons worth. In the first season, the only time he wasn't under Canada's direction was when he ignored him and started calling his own plays in 2 minutes situations at the end of games. He did that three times at the end of that season and all three he drove them down the field and won the game. I'm not saying he won't be a bust, but we certainly didn't set him up for success
