Spoilers for the some stuff in the end - - - I really love getting to see this side of Gillion, the side where he's a child soldier shaped and traumatized by Undersea propaganda and nationalism. Of all the PCs, Gill's character is the one that gets the most obscured by jokes imo (don't get me wrong, I love the jokes but it certainly takes away a lot of the sincerity) so the sort of "end-credits scene" / character study you had at the end is very much appreciated

Damn there was ALOT in this episode. I’m so interested in what’s happening both sides of the coin that we’re following with both Chip and Jay, and also Gillion. I’m also extremely concerned about everything that went down in this episode. Looking back on it, Gillion being stuck, alone with his thoughts in this place where time does not exist is very similar to what happened in the Just Roll What If from a while back; Spoilers for that below! Looking back at how his thoughts strung together when he was turned to stone by Malice was awful. He basically lived out his Childhood failure of not hitting that target for like, 5000 years, and that messed with him quite a bit, so Im interested in what’ll happen here with these trials going on Im sure everything will be just fine though, and they’ll all live happily ever after 🙂

Maybe spoilers for later episodes about Gillion, so proceed with caution. . . . . So that funny Dounjon card that Charlie pulled is very simple - it teleports your character and freezes him in extradimensional sphere until he is found. As far as I understand no spell can locate the sphere besides the Wish spell. So Gillion is basically dead for like 50 episodes until they find a Wish spell and are able to save him. Goodbye Gill.
