Hi Jeri, I found you about 3 days ago and have been watching your different classes since then, I just got my keyboard fixed, so I can now reply. I think you are great, your willingness to share and give your heart thought to people who may be getting older about our journey to stay grateful and creative. That’s been my journey for years. I have been doing watercolor Urban journaling for the past two years but all of a sudden i wanted to go back to cloth, so began finishing some quilt tops then changed lanes again to do so embroidery work. Plus I want a friend to do it with so I found you. You are a sparkle plenty woman with grand ideas. Thank you for putting yourself out there. I live outside Seatttle wa so way on the west coast, I wish I could drop by one of your shows. Your new friend Susan

The stem stitch turned out lovely. I am interested in the variety of stitches you used to put the fabric pieces together very interesting. Your quilts are lovely. It is stressful to me to have people waiting behind me in line while I complete a transaction, especially young people they are so impatient with the older generation. I enjoyed your video, the birds singing in the background are calming.

Nice video, Jeri. Great project. When I use floss, I always separate it because it helps to keep it from tangling. Also, I use beeswax. Between those two things, I don’t get knots very often. There are other thread conditioners, but bees wax is my favorite. It might be my imagination, but I also think the beeswax makes the thread move more easily through the cloth and that means it is easier on the hands. Nice quilts! Gorgeous!❤
@JeriBellini

I’m all in for your SAL. I’ll be stitching with you. I have the exact same book you’re using, but dang, if only I could find it. It’s somewhere in this apartment! Enjoyed your UPS story. I’m like you, do not like to inconvenience people, especially when folks are waiting behind me. Doesn’t take much for me to get nervous when I’m out & about. I’m watching on my big-screen TV; however, because I wanted to see you close up, I opened my iPad, so I can “pinch” the screen and get a closeup of your stitching. Please continue this format. I know you said you were nervous - you’re not used to this style of video - but you did very well. I’m sure many folks will agree. I also follow Kathryn, K3N Cloth Tales, as well as many, many others; one of my favorites is coming from the UK and another is located in Australia. But they are mostly “across the pond”! I’m excited that I’m following someone [you] that is “local.” I feel a wonderful camaraderie. I hope you understand what I’m trying to say. Please continue Jeri! Look forward to more “tales.” God bless!

I have a friend in England and she's been encouraging me to make videos Sidebar: (she's coming for a visit at some point, and I can't wait to meet her!) she mentioned that she loves listening to my accent! I did laugh about that as I don't see myself having an accent. Anyhow, I thought I'd give it a go and I REALLY enjoyed it. P.S. did I say thanks already ? LOL

I can't tell you exactly what needle I'm using, once I take them out of the pack I don't keep track. So I grab a few needles with a larger hole, big enough to thread without any swearing, LOL... And then try it. I like a slender needle, they go through the cloth easier. I honestly don't know what I'm going to do to finish it off, I'm going to play it all by ear along with you guys! And you are very welcome and I thank you for joining me! 💛
