Loved everything you showed and talked about. My lack of knowledge regarding everything after the US Civil War until the 1960's is real, and I've made a plan to change that and educate myself. Giant hugs to you my sweet friend.

Hi Andrea, I feel the same about my own countries history, trying to catch up and looking back at whta I learned in school from a new perspective. It's uncomfortable but eye-opening. love you xx

It's wonderful to see you Ingeborg. Your video was full of beautiful things today. I don't know how you feel about pink, but it's a lovely color on you. I also loved your biscornu and your angel. If I could have reached in and pluck that biscornu out of your hand, I definitely would have. Thank you for sharing all with us today. Sending you Hugs and Happy Stitching. Please stay safe.ease stay safe.

Thanks for the book suggestions! I am currently reading “7 fallen feathers” which is about Canada’s cultural genocide against Indigenous peoples and 7 children who went missing in the early 2000s the police didn’t really bother looking for. It’s heavy but has given me a lot to think about and has been a good reminder that racism is not an American only issue. Thanks for sharing!

Hello Ingeborg! If you enjoy mystery/suspense novels I recommend the black author Attica Locke--I've loved every one of her books (and the audiobook versions of the newest 2 are great). I wasn't sure if you preferred non-fiction/history books in your call for suggestions but maybe someone else would enjoy the information too. Hope you have a happy weekend!

That biscornu is fantastic. I tried to make one once and it was a disaster!!! And that angel is so, so pretty. You do such wonderful work

It can be a bit tricky not to lose count on how you're sewing it together, I would suggest try again, because the end result is worth it ;)

Good for you on your learning journey! I will admit that I haven't been reading any books because, I don't read any books lol but I am watching videos and learning online. Whilst Scotland doesn't have the same issues as America, it has an awful cultural racism. And let's be honest, slave traders were often from here or the UK and I was horrified to learn that many of the well known street names in Glasgow, like Buchanan Street, are named after prolific slave traders. Thanks for the little video, much love xxx
