Hey Hun. 1st it's our southern word. 2nd You got an Amen, naw 3! Our family has business/ family meetings every month. This is to see if anyone is feeling overwhelmed, do any adjustments need to be made, new ideas..etc. We started all this as a family, and as a family we must work together in ALL areas. My Hubby say this a lot..."If WE don't have balance, WE need to scratch some things off. We're not superhumans." And he is so right Jessica

Thank you!! It’s so hard to say no because people act like they’re entitled to you’re time and then they’re shocked and surprised when you set a boundary.

Totally agree! I had to take a BIG step back last year because I was so stressed being pulled in so many different directions. I am focusing on my goals and saying NO to anything that doesn’t support those goals.

Thank you! It wasn’t easy, but I was saying yes and then getting stressed, feeling like I wasn’t doing a good job and letting people down and then feeling really guilty! I love what you said and hope more people can take back their time too!

Because we work from home people think we do zilch all day... They can try what it's like to juggle kids, partner, household tasks as well as working every minute that can be fit around this all. My solution was to move country and live in the woods 😂😂😂 nobody asks me anything, I don't even speak the language 😂😂😂😂 fixed 💪

I am so stressed tired depressed. Husband expects everything. I work i bring up 3 difficult kids and have to carry alllll the responsibilities alll alone. And if kids do something wrong or things are a bit chaotic he blames me. I get everything done all personal things for him clothes for work put out for him mornings his coffee and breakfast in bed and his food for work packed. Kids ready for school and myself for work..... Taxi mama all day for kids and hubby. House chores supper and any random request from hubby to go do his stuff he wants done so he can relax in his lunch time at work. I am depressed giving up. When i was recently so sick no one helped clean house is a monster mess and all hubby does is walk and complain and shout about the way it looks. I geuss i am a bad wife mother and employee.,.

Please tell me you dumped your husband!! Absolutely not okay for him to treat you like that. You both work and you need to do 50/50 of the chores. Take care more of your self and get a break.

I think it helps if someone narrows it down to only helping with causes that really help others the most. Like, find out what causes are truly important to you, like one at a time. And put a limit. Like if we think we can handle 20 hours a week. Chances are, it should be 10. Be realistic. I think for me, the hardest thing is that I am a single parent, and so ALL the pressure is on ME ONLY. And I do not have a support system, like friends who care, or a family. I have a couple relatives but they were the most toxic ones in the family, and they live closer to me. So I feel alone a lot. And I am older now, so even dating is harder. And so I have so much. And my daughter has health concerns like moderate eczema. And speech delay. So, I really have a lot on my plate. Sometimes I feel like I have to just forget about a problem, just so that I can handle it. If there are too many at once I start to feel overwhelmed. But then I feel bad. But stressing out isn't going to fix it. 🙃
