A voice from Ireland, these movies used to be on tv on Sunday afternoons during the winter our family would sit around the living room with the fire going I loved those Sundays, no stores open no one working (Sunday was still a holy day then) there was no daytime TV so it was an event to watch a movie at 4pm wind and rain outside, ha feeling all nostalgic, but I do believe that those Sundays bonded us as a family it was the only time we sat down with my dad (old school hard worker in a large city bakery) hadn't much but these movies, gotta say some of the best days of my life, so just to say, Thanks for the memories and the movies.

Terrific movie! Thank you for sharing. The speech at the end should be taught to every child in our schools. I'll be 69yrs. old tomorrow and we heard words like that constantly from all of our teachers because all of our fathers fought in WWII. I agree with Elvira Donaghy - drain the swamp! And, pray for our country every day. Heck, I'd be willing to pay More taxes if the money went to buy More Draino!
@RonaldOClair6 жыл бұрын
I did not get to see the Elvira Donaghy post, and Happy belated birthday to you. I too was raised in a different time, back when a citizen was aware of the duties and responsibilities that come with the citizenship bargain. There are far too many today who fail utterly to perform their civic duties and yet clamor about their "rights" when things don't go their way. They seem to have never been educated about what it means to be an American citizen. Having been a sworn "protector & defender" I am perhaps more aware than other people of my rights, duties and obligations of citizenship. This movie should be remade for today's times. There are many Municipal Governments that have been corrupted throughout our land in this very manner. People will never respect law enforcement if the law is not applied equally and fairly to all without favor or political patronage. I say we need to start cleaning house in Washington D.C. and make some examples out of some who have been getting away with crime for far too long now. People also need to do their civic duty to assist the local and state police forces to clean up the crime in their own communities, the police can't function without the community support that is essential to good law enforcement. This pervasive mentality throughout America that actually doing your civic duty and testifying about the crimes that take place in your own neighborhoods should be rewarded, not punished. If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem. Make America Great Again, do your part and put a bite on the crime around you.
