I'm a Ravenclaw too, and it makes me so happy to find other people who are in love with books!! It's strangely hard to find people who both love drawing/crafting/etc and also love books? The thing about books being essential to us also spoke to me, as I wrote a whole college essay on the point (the prompt was "Describe an epiphany moment in your life, or something that has shaped you" and I went OFF about how I'm basically a living, breathing tapsetry of every story I've ever loved).

I made one of these before but a bit different. My grandma cut pieces of cardboard (more pieces than what you had) and got me yarn to sew around it. It was easy and fun to make. I believe she still has it.

I just finished my first ever first draft of a novel, and this video could not have come at a better time. Specifically, Erin’s note. I’ve been a little burnt out since I hit the end of the story from juggling both my KZbin/art and writing life and haven’t felt like I see the point of taking those last steps needed like editing, making a cover, and just publishing already, dang it. Thanks, Erin, for reminding me a little when I needed it about WHY I started this journey in the first place. I can do this, at whatever pace I need.

They should have included a balloon and mache mix. Used to make bowls and baskets that way. Just put your floss in the mix and wrap it around the bottom half of the balloon. Brush on a layer of the mache mix and let dry overnight. Lastly, pop the balloon to remove.

I made a string Christmas tree and instead of glue I used starch (boiled water and added corn starch and got it thicc) and it dried clear. Wonderful :) might work for this too!
