A Sturdy 11% Monthly Dividend Fund Nobody Talks About

In this video we’re gonna take a look at a high paying monthly dividend investment that I never see anyone talk about. Which I think is strange, because considering all of the features it has, and the long track record it has, I think you’ll also wonder why you never hear anyone talk about it. This fund not only yields over 11%, and pays monthly dividends, but it’s also been around for nearly 30 years and has never missed a dividend payment. And up until recently, for several decades, this fund even beat the S&P 500.

I like investing in close-end funds that pay monthly dividends. The trick is to hold long term and reinvest the monthly dividends plus buy more shares on a monthly basis or when ever you can afford to. This can be easily done because close-end funds are bought and sold on the stock market just like regular stock. That’d be enough to create a portfolio that would pay you between $50k to $70k in dividend income

I have been a dividend focused investor for a long time. This does not mean I don't own growth stocks, I do. A well rounded portfolio should be a mixture of both categories. One way to minimize the anxiety out of stock market investing, is to make sure you keep a large cash cushion. I invest in the market, but never put all my money in market.

Dividends are dope. Personally, I sometimes use my dividends to buy other dividend and growth stocks for diversification instead of reinvesting in the same stock. To each their own methods though. The good thing is that you’re investing in the first place and that’s what’s important. Salute for the content!

Yes, I've been in constant touch with a Financial Analyst for approximately 8 months. You know, these days it's really easy to buy into trending stocks, but the task is determining when to sell or keep. That's where my manager comes in, to help me with entry and exit points in the industries I'm engaged in. Can’t say I regret it, I’m 40% up in profits just in 5months with my initial capital of $160k

My dividend journey began when I realized that two particular expenses in my budget were always going to go up and never go down. The two expenses were taxes and insurance. I realized that the dramatic rise in both will need some added income. So, I started buying shares paying dividends. I can now see that this will be the path I need to take to make sure those two expenses will not overtake my future income.

It’s a good idea to diversify your portfolio across different stocks and sectors to minimize risk. I’ve heard of people accruing over $550k during recessions and inflation, its important to do your own research.

But I can assure you, that watching videos and asking for advice on the Internet is a great way to lose money. If you're serious, you're going to have to get some books on the fundamentals and you'll need to learn how to analyze stocks and funds (it's not so hard).

Wow. I don't know how much you're making, but if you have a job that pays the average of 35K per year, you'll need at least 450K to replace that income and that is without any reinvestment. Furthermore, you need to accept that anything you dump into high-dividend stocks will not enjoy any capital appreciation and you need to be weary of funds that pay out dividends from capital rather than earnings. If the dividend is not 100% covered by earnings, do not invest.

Nope. You were not first. I fail to understand the juvenile mindset that considers being first to comment as some sort of accomplishment. Perhaps life is more simple for those folks still living in their parents' basement. 😋

Yeah, I believe investing with a professional is the optimal approach, as it mitigates the risk of significant losses. Did you genuinely know her? I was under the impression that I was the sole beneficiary of her guidance through the challenges of trading.

Seeing a remark regarding my manager Evelyn Turner is quite energizing. It was just like this when I first met her a few weeks ago. Having started with just 4k about 2-3 weeks ago, I have already made it to 21 k. She is very remarkable!

Hard pass. 11% is NOT sufficient for the risk of investing in junk bonds, and debt derivatives. Coupled with a loss of 42% of principle since inception, it's a loser. Imagine if you'd dumped 100K in 30 years ago, it would now be worth only 58K and the dividend payouts over those thirty years would barely compensate for inflation and the loss of capital. Not to mention the opportunity costs of having invested in something that didn't suck.

As a beginner, educate yourself, Learn the basics of investing and the stock market. There are many resources available online, including books, articles, and online courses. It’s a good idea to diversify your portfolio across different stocks and sectors to minimize risk. I’ve heard of people accruing over $550k during recessions and inflation, its important to do your own research.

I really don't like making such recommendations, because everybody's situation is unique. But there are many freelance advisors you could check out.
