I wonder if the ban on alcohol sales on election day is because they don't want people going to bars, getting drunk, and then getting into politics-related fights. The ban on sales in shops would simply be because the bars would say it isn't fair. But nice to know the politics in Uruguay and Australia are so chill. Never apologize for slow mo. And that's a cool sneeze you have there! 👍 I know who Sarah J Maas is, but haven't read her books. But always nice to come across a fellow reader.

I didn't even think about political fights, but I guess it could be a factor! I also don't know for how long this has been a rule, only that it is currently happening :)

It's just so you don't go intoxicated and take a bad decision with your vote. You should be in your best shape.

There isn't usually fights between oposing party members on the streat, it's quite common to see them promoting their party side by side on street corners. The ban is more about not having intoxicated assholes inside voting rooms/stalls.

I will be honest I have only spoken to a few friends about it so I don't know a lot of information. It seems like a smooth process to vote, and nothing seems too different to me (from what i have seen)

Wow!!Que cambio en tus vídeos!No he visto todo tu contenido, pero si recuerdo que en lo último que vi eras bastante dura y negativa con Uruguay en algunos aspectos.Y no es que dijeras mentiras.Sabemos que no somos el país perfecto y que hay mucho para mejorar, pero aunque la frontalidad y la sinceridad son buenas cualidades,no es agradable para nosotros escuchar tantas críticas y disconformidades con nuestro país porque nos duele,ya que por naturaleza somos hospitalarios con los inmigrantes y queremos que las personas que vienen a Uruguay disfruten,la pasen bien o puedan llevar una vida agradable en nuestro país.Y la verdad es que algunas de tus declaraciones y conceptos sonaban como si todo aquí estuviera mal y lo cierto es que hay cosas buenas y malas como en todos los países.Seguramente ese fue el enfoque que le quisiste dar a tus videos, pero para muchos de nosotros tu contenido resultaba un poco hiriente y algunos de tus comentarios críticos y negativos nos quedaban resonando mas que los positivos. Y pasar de eso a verte disfrutar de nuestras playas y encima tomando mate,me voló la cabeza 🤯 Una muy agradable sorpresa 🥰
