Peter Bowles was filming at Southerndown. I took some photos of him. He was in a dressing gown and slippers. Peter had such a temper at the film crew as he had to be helped across the rocks! Ohh my goodness he was not happy 😳😄

You are very near the Jurassic Coast and wonderful places like Sidmouth Lyme Regis and Bridport. Other in Somerset to visit Glastonbury Tor The Avalon Marshes and Burnham On Sea. You might be able to see Porthcawl from Burnham On Sea. They have a good Country and Festival in Brean and Burnham On Sea at the end of September in October.

Hi, we have been to Lynmouth, N Devon a few times, directly opposite Porthcawl and did get down to Dorset and the Jurassic Coast a few summers ago. Yes, a very beautiful area.
