Got to be careful as there's wild Welsh people around there.

That's correct. Big advantage of carriers like Norse is that you can buy one-way tickets across the Atlantic at a good price. Norse is simply Norwegian long-haul under a different name and livery. The 787s are the same as is the onboard seating.
@flydriveexploreКүн бұрын
We will be probably use Norse again in March for another one way trip. This flight was fine. We were meant to fly with Norwegian back in 2019 but the flights were replaced by Wamos which was not a great experience.

The problem is there are no ditches, just bushes and hedges. If you meet someone going to fast you cant escape into the ditch and save yourself. You can't see the scenery because of the hedges. When UK get rid of the hedges and make ditches, there will be no sewers on the road and we can enjoy the view

Merry Christmas Marcus and Melissa! Hope your holidays are filled with lots of love, family and happy memories. I have to agree with you about MIA…the parts that I have seen are all a bit worn and dated! It could definitely do with some updating! When we flew out of there in May with Virgin - the air conditioning wasn’t working in the terminal!! Nothing quite like getting on a +8 hour flight all hot and sweaty 🥵! Anyway - love all your content! Wishing you both all the best! 😊

Ive only just come across this one Marcus, holds many memories for me, I am scottish but was baptised and married in the Abbey (I was in the RAF at the time, 1973, and married a local girl but had to be baptised before we could marry in the Abbey), the Abbey holds a special place in our family over many years with my late wife having sung in the choir. I see you took the long way up to the ruin, locals use the other path which is by the duck pond.
@flydriveexplore6 күн бұрын
Thanks for watching, I've done a few more in this area. Have you seen the old radar station vid?
@Vic-u9l5 күн бұрын
@@flydriveexplore Yes I did Marcus, been up there many times in the past. I am ex RAF Comms, and worked on a few radar stations so know about Chain Home as it was called at the time. there is a fantastic book written by Wg Cmd Stanford Tuck, who was stationed at Pembrey, he was alerted to a bomber flying over the Bristol Channel and flew from Pembrey to intercept, the radar directed him to where it was, he was in the clouds and all of a sudden he popped up out of the clouds and the bomber was in front of him, he give it a quick burst it then flew back under the clouds with bits flying off it, a day or two later he recieved a letter from his sister saying her husband had been killed, he went to the Intelegence officer and asked what had happened to the aircraft he fired at, the answer was that it dropped its bombs quickly to get away, there was only one casualty, a soldier sitting in a hut in Porthcawl, it was his Brother in Law.

Hi Both - Would be interested when this was filmed ie when you were In Gdansk - as I have just returned from 4 days in Poland - 2 days in Gdansk - last Thurs & Fri and 2 days in Warsaw - as it happens my partner had the plum jam and croissant and made same remark ie not the sweetest plum. We stayed in the Old Town really convenient but visited all the places you did - surprised our paths didn’t cross Really enjoyed the long weekend- our first visit to Poland

I had to watch this because... My real grandfather passed away in 1950 (12 years before I was born), so my grandmother (a Cockney) married a Polish man who came to Wales after the 2nd world war and I grew up with them in Pantyrawel, Ogmore Valley from 1963. Yes, I know - it sounds complicated...and weird. Anyway... My adopted grandfather grew up on a farm in - you guessed it - Gdansk region. It's nice to see that the city there has become so modern after the stories he told me about how it was when he was a kid. Their main meal was often nothing more than salted potatoes. Thanks for the Vid...! 🙂

I am Polish American, 100% Polish born to Polish immigrants. Polish food is so underrated because it is not as wide spread as other cuisines. But everyone that I know that has tried it, has loved it. LOVE the Polish apple cake. It is nice to see Poland getting more and more tourism. One thing I wanted to clarify. For the cheese that is used in the pierogi, I know that Google translate always says that it is cottage cheese, but that is not right. It is what we call farmer's cheese. It does not have the curds like cottage cheese does. It is more of a soft cream cheese consistency with a mild taste. I know cottage cheese turns people off but the cheese it nothing like cottage cheese as we know it.
@flydriveexplore9 күн бұрын
Hi, thanks for clarifying it. You’re right the cheese was nothing like cottage cheese as we know it.
