Oh you play TH:CotW too? I still wish the Planet Zoo deer had some antler variation like the ones in The Hunter do. I'm super stoked about the axis deer and wild boar mods this week and the vontsira is just adorable with it's bright red fluffy tail. It's also really great to see the rapid improvements of the aquatic mods. Thank you and the other modders for all your hard work :)

Unrelated: I recently downloaded you Indian star tortoise and noticed it ate fish and had the underwater fish feeding box as an enrichment item - are they based on the gharial? Make sure to go in with a clean Ovldata Folder (Content0-8/9, GameMain) and you're good!

Thanks for the showcase and your incredible creations, but I have to say it's not pretty cool hunting animals and called that a sport.

To each their own! Hunting has actually proven to be extremely useful for several communities and has been so woven into not only modern culture but indigenous cultures as well and should be looked at with an open mind. People often mistake hunting and poaching as the same and i highly suggest looking into reports and material that distinguish the two apart from each other.

The comment was made about the snow sheep, which is a very known species beetwen people that practice hunting. I am not talking about indigenous cultures that have hunted for survival through centuries. I am talking about that if you google snow sheep, you will find several photos of people posing with dead snow sheeps as trophies. Although I consider myself an open minded person, I can't understand how someone can say they love animals but want to have its head on a wall because it has nice horns. I want to believe there are better ways to financiate conservation efforts than killing animals. Thanks for your response P.S: Sorry for my english, it's a bit rusty.

I think it’s kind of weird to put hybrids in the game. One, most of the well-known large mammal hybrids generally don’t breed in real life. Two, there is obviously no game mechanic for breeding two species together anyway. And three, therefore the only option is obviously to make them their own species in the game, but that makes less than zero sense in the real world. It’s better that the community stops bothering with any “hybrid” mods from now on. Also, what information was put in regarding the breeding of such “hybrids”?

Or maybe just don't download that mod and move on with your life? I'm very much against the breeding of ligers in real life due to how messed up their health is, but this is a game. If someone for example wants to build a "zoo" that's really a rescue for exotic animals from bad situations, then having hybrids is perfectly realistic due to the insane amount of backyard breeding big cats especially go through. I'm sorry, but it's not up to you to decide what other members of the community should and shouldn't want to build.

I believe you’re just kidding, but fictional character mods are equally nonsensical for the same reasons (breeding, “species”, etc.), as well as simply being unrealistic to the extreme.
