Also FYI, 4Kids losing the rights to Pokemon had absolutely nothing to do with "negative reactions", and millions of fans loved 4Kids' Pokemon dub and weren't happy that the nearly the entire cast was replaced. That's right, despite what you think, 4Kids actually has millions of fans and supporters.

I'm pretty sure teenagers and young adults who are incredibly HUGE One Piece fans because of how PERFECTLY GOOD it is were INCREDIBLY ANGRY when they saw blood being removed, because teenagers often think bleeding is cool. For example, whenever a teenager might see someone bleed in real life, he might say, "Cool...he's bleeding!" See, that's why blood is cooler than NO blood!

Do you wants hypocrical. in Sonic X two main robot characters, Emerl and Gamma, both had really violet and/or emotional death scene and they both die in the games. But one character whose death played a major role in that storyline was changed to her being "taking away". Cubot : "If you look at a robots point of view, this is quite horrific"

Believe it or not a lot of stuff that is change that were done in One Piece was actually approved by the Japanese and they have to follow standards and practices on what they can and cannot show at their time slots. Luffy's voice actress stated in an interview the process behind 4kids One Piece.

4kids isn't anime only. There's a few original Productions 4kids made, like Viva Pinata and TMNT (new version, which kicks ass might I add). TMNT, in particular, goes against all the anime dub laws 4kids has and puts in references to Japanese culture, references to religion, and black people. TMNT's actually the only show I watch from 4kids now.
