Great work as always! These videos are an excellent way to re-live the early days of Liverpool.

As a 10 year old Liverpool fan I vaguely remember this being my first cup final on TV. Thanks to KZbin I have watched BBC and ITV matches in full. It was a hard cup final. I went to the homecoming next day. The crowd was huge for the turnout. LFC did their best but Arsenal deserved to win. It was played in the day when all fans stayed behind and the sportsmanship from both teams was a different class in my opinion.

Great site, love the history that you’ve been able to source, well done! I was at the Aldershot game, my first seeing Liverpool at Anfield - I was at the Annie Road end not ‘brave’ enough as a lone teenager to go on the Kop 😂

That reverse pass by Evans in the semi final was world class, completely scrambled the brains of rankin the keeper bcos it was so unexpected, he just wasn't ready for it and that's why he dropped the ball 😳

Ray Clements commented that he could have saved Charlie George's shot, but it was diverted due the Larry Lloyd's tackle -putting his foot in (he was not blaming him, "as he needed to tackle George) Ray was just explaining how Charlie George scored that goal. As for Arsenal's equalizing goal, it was pathetic defending by Liverpool's "so called" back four. That first goal by Steve Highway was sunning ... the ball was passed to him by Peter Thompson (a fading "Liverpool Great" wing player of the 60s) to a young up and coming "Liverpool Great" wing player of the 70s.
