IIRC sploot loot is controlled via tags, meaning in Bedrock it's ridiculous easy to add a new sniffed seed in a mcpack (it also makes Java modding a lot easier).

truly accurate to the game and camels breaking themselves off of leads tied to fences no idea how, I thought maybe they got to max lead length, then laid down and because their animation locks them into place it would pull it *just* far enough to break... but I put them in a small hole and it still happened

That Sniffer was just trying to speed-run Minecraft... After the camel lost track of it, he made his way to the Stronghold and killed the dragon. That's how he somehow got back so quickly, he respawned after going through the portal.
