Joe's willingness to only step in and offer clues they missed when they're having trouble putting the pieces together is great. He let's them solve the mystery on their own until they miss a crucial piece and it makes sense for them to know it in that moment.

One of the things I really like about this campaign is that answers are dangerous, being curious is dangerous but having players that are curious is still a good thing. You could play this campaign really boring and just try to avoid everything but then you never get any answers. Joes speech about playing Delta Green is really good and something I will make sure that I bring up as a session zero thing when Gods Teeth and its a good campaign but both that campaign and Iconoclasts are dark. I mean really proper dark. I am not sure how it actually would work for Joe to run. I think Impossible Landscapes is such a good fit for the group.

I figured out what Joe is alluding to during the Exeter interrogation. Abigail and he are linked in that they are both producing derivative art works. Presumably all based on the King in Yellow and the yellow sign. And in so doing they manifest things into reality.
