Nothing better than a top water bite. Ratting Chug bug is a favorite as well. Can pop and walk the dog with it. Some of the larger saltwater versions are great for stripers too! Great info as usual!!!

Is that a rico or a Rio rico in your hand. I just purchased 2 ricos and 1 rio last week and both say made in japan. I have not used them yet. I stop taking reviews seriously when i found out competitors pay people to buy products and leave bad reviews. I just use them for reference.

It was a Rico. Regarding reviews, I like to find multiple reviews so that I can get a consensus about a bait. I agree that individual reviews can be unreliable.

Rico and Iovino Splash (both sizes)are pretty much the same bait with different color choices. If you want you support the inventor of Rico, go with Iovino and it’s slightly cheaper. TW has Rico blems on discount every December if you don’t want to spend $20.

i still have about 15 wiggle warts from the 80's they had some problems and their quality dropped. Manns classic spinnerbait same story failing quality. i make my own now. That Wart was the best crankbait in all its sizes and colors.
