I’m already dollar cost averaging but I’ve been holding onto a lot of cash as well. I recently put most of it into stocks because it was just sitting there. Most of it went to dividend stocks so I’m not too worried. The goal is to invest for dividend and the stocks were at a recent low so I’m not worried long term. Sooner I start the more dividends I’ll have to reinvest.

Dividends are dope. Personally, I sometimes use my dividends to buy other dividend and growth stocks for diversification instead of reinvesting in the same stock. To each their own methods though. The good thing is that you’re investing in the first place and that’s what’s important. Salute for the content!

The section in this video on the corruption of the judicial system is spot on. It's getting ridiculous.....I'm in the middle of a devastating divorce right now and the jokers in the court system have no understanding of my small business, my actual income, etc. It's terrifying and I could very well lose 20+ years of my life's work(my business) at the end of it all, not even talking about the emotional toll of the divorce on me and my kids. Which it has not. I have the same dollar denominations in gold and silver as I did five years ago although those dollars will not purchase as much so it has not hedged my purchasing power from inflation.

The whole problem with "dumping" is that it's sustainable for quite some time because the whole world is standardized on some type of "fiat" currency.....that's especially a problem in the exchange of currencies between the US and China......a PM standard would fix all that obviously.....but that's a whole separate issue.

Listening to Peter Schiff for 16 years has cost a hundred thousand listeners tens if not hundreds of million dollars each. The obvious investment is crypto. If you invested a thousand back in 2008, you'd be a billionare. But aside from that, every booming asset, Schiff talks his followers out of investing 💰in favour of what he sells. Simply put, he's a gold salesman. Gold serves an investment purpose, but it's not to grow wealth. The vast majority of Peter's listeners are just working a job, and they are wasting their opportunity to get out of the 9 to 5 rat race by buying the asset designed to stand still.

I think the biggest problem is that mining has simply run into too many complications that investors don't want to be dependent on. Licenses, permits, regulations, labor and unions, governments changing views, it's a nightmare. It's become too political. Now combine that with the Bitcoin ETF's coming out and where do you think institutional money is going? The sector has a massive capital problem. I've picked up some extra NEM and GOLD because they are low but I'm out on JR's and I'm sticking to gold/silver ETF's that are pure plays on spot.

Newmont just cut its dividend from $0.40/quarter to $0.25 (an almost 38% cut), and that's with the price of gold near its all-time high. I'm pessimistic about all of these mining stocks. If one of the supposedly "strongest" gold stocks is performing this badly with gold above $2,000, what are we going to see from these companies if (when?) gold drops back down to, say, $1,800?

When I started CUDA coding on nv GPU's like 12 years ago or whatever, it blew my mind. I disagree with you about product dumping. These companies that are dumping products are willing to go into heavy debt in order to squeeze out competition. These foreign companies are essentially creating cash flow constraints on domestic companies to the point where the domestics have to completely cut the production of their product/products because they simply can’t afford to pay for production. It’s sort of comparable to “loss leading” products. The goal of product dumping is to last long enough at such a low price that it forces the competition out. Once a foreign company scoops up enough market share, they are then able to raise prices and control the market. It’s the long version of monopolizing an industry, instead of acquiring exclusive market control, they force market control by squeezing out the companies that can’t operate at heavy deficits.
