Thank you so much for this. I fucking love Kidcrash, and Alex just seems like the coolest dude.

Kidcrash might be my favorite band of all time, those four dudes are legends! Really cool to hear more about em

I may or may not be an odd ball, but I love New Ruins, Goldie Hawn, Snacks and Naps. Super pumped for the new album, I was one of the kickstarter backers that didn't want my money back XD

Been listening to Snacks for 14 years now. Absolutely love Naps to this day. Insane how much this band impacted me. Very glad to hear this interview 🙏

Bro thank you so much for doing this. Kidcrash is one of my favorite bands and there is so little material on them. Loved every second. Finding out that Yage was their biggest influence if fucking insane as well, especially because of the parallels in the bands origins.

No band i miss more than kidcrash. I always felt like they had a piglet (lava land) vibe mixed with hints of hardcore.

Thank you for posting this! My first band booked a show in Paris, Tx for some weird reason and the venue backed out last minute. We found an empty house in a neighborhood and totally had Kidcrash play in a driveway. 3 songs in the cops were called haha. One of the more memorable experiences. This was during their Goldie Hawn era. I'm glad he's doing well and hopefully we get to hear the new album soon!

This showed up in my suggested videos (which isn't weird, I am a HUGE Kidcrash fan), and listened to it hoping to hear some Kickstarter/new album updates. VERY stoked to hear it's still in the works and will be completed at some point. Jokes is an all time favorite album of mine. Definitely was a Kickstarter backer too. Great interview/talk.

I stumbled on their last EP not long after release and it has stuck with me since. Nearly 15 years for the next album is crazy

❤ been listening to their entire discography for for almost 2 decades. Had the pleasure of meeting Buster several years ago after a buddy invited him to play drums at my house while he was in town (which was amazing!). He talked about the kickstarter album then which got me so excited to hear it was still being worked on. Now hearing this! I know we’ve all been waiting so long for it but I know it’s going to be so amazing. Thank you for this interview!

Alex was very gracious to an over-excited UK-based fanboy back in 2012: me. We shot a few emails over some donation I'd sent and he blew my mind by sending me a Jokes cassette. I was so over the moon I don't think I ever let him know that it arrived. So, Alex, got your tape! Still!

Thanks a lot for this! It was a truly unexpected gift. However, I wish you asked him about his short-lived band called "Wild Guess", which was also really great. It's basically a slower and more "straight rock" version of Kidcrash: kzbin.info/www/bejne/j4amYnykjpushLM If you have a way to contact Alex again you should suggest him to post an update with on Kidcrash facebook page, I have recently seen people commenting on his old post from 2018... Anyway, this is such good news! The world needs a new Kidcrash album in 2024 :) Hoping to facilitate the spread of some incredible music, these are the two album mentioned in the interview that were very influential to Kidcrash sound: Yage: kzbin.info/www/bejne/h6e4iqOMoqylqpY Stop it!!: kzbin.info/www/bejne/e4KcpqZvmqierqM [I had already commented, but my comment disappeared... I hope it was not seen as span for the bandcamp links... I have replaced them with youtube links now]

@@emanx58 weird, maybe I misheard him (likely, as I was equally intrigued and confused when I heard that). Dream Decay is definitely not death metal by any stretch
