I was climbing Mount Prophet this past July, completing the southwest rib (a.k.a. Jacob's ladder), then descending on the south rib (39 mile creek). Your shots of Mount Prophet provided me an outstanding perspective of what I achieved. Thank you for your nice video, well done!.

KZbin is a great way to "scout" a trip before you go. Glad this video was useful for that purpose. Feel like I'm giving back for all the KZbin "scouting" I have done. When I get a chance I need to check out your video of the climb. I can't even remember where Mt. Prophet is. Gonna have to break out the map! This is one location in the North Cascades I have a burning desire to return to. Lots of cool trips to complete.

Wow, thanks for the video. 25 years ago we entered from Hannigan pass but could not summit with the same result. We then dropped to the Big Beaver and had the Ross Lake resort pick us up. It was a great trip but we were disappointed as well. Thanks again for the memory.

Of all the trips we did in 22, this is one I want to go back and repeat, hoping to get better results. But, how can results get much better than these views. Always find the silver lining. Thanks for the comments and take care.

The North Cascades are so big it is almost intimidating. Great video! Had the family watch this one too! They enjoyed as well. There is a grove of huge cedars on the far end of Packwood Lake as well. Bushwacks are CRAZY! That last camp you had was amazing. Thanks for sharing this journey!

Thank You Tom. So cool my videos are considered family friendly. I really enjoyed the last night of this trip in the forest next to the river and camp fire.

Thank You. I just recently bought a Tamaron Lens that has lots of zooming capabilities all packed into one lens. I used to take two lens a switch out to meet the needs of the shot.

Awesome video aaron. Looks like you had some five star camps!

Yeah, both in the forest and up high, the camps on this trip were two sides of the same coin.

Be it Cedar, Hemlock, Red Wood or Sequoia, or other; when all is said and done, IMO the most "goose bump producing" thing in nature is a stand of old growth. Seems like virtually every time your in NCNP you see bears close up. THX for the effort!

Thank You for watching. Yes, the forest shrouds a lot of mystery and fills the adventurous soul with anxiety. So much out there in the old growth that man will never see. It is almost just as dangerous going off trail through timber as it is traveling in the alpine zone. Lots of ways to get hurt on a bush wack.

@@aaronfulwider779 Believe me I got a full taste of what you're saying. I'm from PA and with my Wildlife Bio Degree in hand (in the 90's) I ventured to No Cal and joined a Spotted Owl survey crew in Red Wood country. What an education!

What a fantastic adventure through amazingly gorgeous wilderness. That bushwhack didn't look fun with all that gear, though. Great commentary, filming, photography, and editing. Thank you for sharing your experience with us.

Thank You for watching. Yeah, that is the downside of trying to climb peaks in remote regions. Sometimes, you carry a lot of gear and do not use it. Going down the bush whack section was a lot easier than going up, we found a more direct way. On the ascent we went to far too the left and got slowed by a few rock bands that needed to be navigated. This trip put us in good shape for the next climb though.
