Man every time I see Matt training, it gets me motivated to go out and work even harder. Same thing when I see an upload, just makes me want to make my channel even better. I make videos about college soccer and what that’s like and hopefully I’ll be able to make vids of this quality. Keep it up man.

Ayy keep up the good work, I feel you bro. We have the same issue with my younger brother. Here in Santa Clara districts all the public parks and fields are close. We have a small dirt backyard and I got a rebounder, we been working on small space, touch and control and short passes and juggling to keep up with soccer work. Outside of that we have done prison workouts using primarily body weights and dumbells other than that we been doing 100 meter sprints 2x's a week an now we will elevate our workout by going gon a 6 miles run. School also gets in the way and sometimes lack of motivation because it's not the same practicing with teammates and having a coach teaching you. Keep up the good work Matt!

I had a bad session today as well... Ren 20 minutes to get to the place I train, with a ball and water on my backpack, getting there I start touching the ball and really wasn't in the mood... Juggled it around a bit, did some wall passes, wall kicks and ren home again hahaha... I figured out we just can't blame or be too hard on ourselves.... The reason brazilian soccer used to be so good it's because we used to play with joy and happiness, and I don't see that happening as much anymore. Got home, drank water, had lunch and now just chilling... There's no point on being hard with ourselves, guys, let's enjoy ourselves, play with happiness and wait for the best! Matt, big fan of you here, man!

Don't worry matt, i have been in the situation like you, when i was not motivated in practise , but then i understood that i could make more that i can, so now i am very very motivated in practises. I also think that, when you were passing a ball, the ball was jumping so high or ball was rolling another way. So i think it was not your fault only. So have a success and have a good football carier. (My english is poor but i wrote the text how i could do).

It must be frustrating for a pro in the usa to have to train in such conditions (not implying spoiled cuz i've followed your journey). But I remember when I was training as a teenager in Brazil, my coaches (ex pros) would always make us play on different surfaces (shitty fields, futsal, beach, dirt, mud, street, turf or even use ike beat up non spherical balls lol 😂 )to force us to have a better touch on the ball and quicker reflexes. made playing in those pristine pitches a walk in the park lol. I guess to the point of the video, and to any young players, always try to make the best of these situations, force yourself to be uncomfortable. Matt thank you, your journey and channel have helped me rediscover my love for training (notice the difference between I stressed training not just football). abcs.
