I feel like the Digitizer weapons would be a good fit for the Armiger. A tough cruiser combat style gets the most from the DOT effect. While it also has issues getting away from core breaches, making the Digitization instead of the breach a very valuable trait.

I always hoped you'd show off the Pathfinder one day. It's easily my favourite STO design. My headcanon for my captain's Pathfinder was that it was advanced Tactical System Testbed.

I'd love to see more episodes with the pathfinder ship, besides optimizing is great and all but when you're just doing story stuff it really doesn't matter. Considering Hale's propencity for the TOS exploration era he coould want to be in a pathfinder to feel more like getting into the exploration side.

By the way, get the Intrepid bundle! It's totally worth it. You get the T4 Bellerophon class, the T5 Intrepid refit class and the T6 Pathfinder. Use all three consoles on the Pathfinder, it becomes a science tank. You also get the 2370s and 2410 Voyager interiors. I hope you get to play with the Compiler dreadnought at some point.

I like the idea that the Federation would try to reverse engineer V'Ger's weaponry but choose not to use it. It's powerful for sure but not in-line with Starfleet principles.

Man, the number of times I farmed this patrol over the last month (Because I didn't want to do the story mission out of order)! Sometimes the dialogue would bug out and not trigger that last part, which would make the mission impossible to complete. But, that's STO for ya. By the way, weren't you doing a series on the systems and patrols that can be found in the game last year? What happened to that series?

I plan to continue it at a slower pace. It literally burnt me out, lol. The older patrols were about 2-3 hours of content which was not exactly high quality polish crammed into a 20 min video and it was honestly difficult to do.

I also notice the Pathfinder class has pivot points on the nacelles connected to the impulse engines, just like the Intrepid class, does this mean the nacelles pivot at warp too? ✌🏻

I would guess so. Visually speaking the Lexington is essentially the Odyssey with a weapons pod and phaser lance under the saucer. With how much combat the Armiger has been up against, the math checks out

well i kinda was inclined to get a pathfinder (or more accurately a trailblazer) with a coupon I had but chose not to. i prefer the new hydra. what kinda made me choose against the pathfinder and her variants is that I don't like the pathfinder deflector and I am not a fan of science ships. i don't like the layout (mostly 3/3) and I am not really interested in the stuff connected to a science build (sensor analysis, secondary deflectors, exotic particles etc)
