However, both TD drives and i believe a FG drive by the Chiefs were extended by blatant, egregious third down personal foul penalties, which swung momentum back in the favor of the Chiefs, and that really didn't make things any easier for the Texans. both of these things can be true, it's called nuance.

As a chiefs fan that was accurate. That 2nd roughing call was inexcusable. I think the problem is since the chiefs win so often, when the refs are indeed bad it amplifies the hate, and it’s the playoffs where it’s ride or die.. You can look at other teams this year and see just as bad officiating.

I'm not going to say that the Chiefs wouldn't have won. We'll never get a chance to know. But two substantial calls that at minimum translate to 10 points for the Chiefs will forever leave a bad taste in my mouth. If Houston had been dismantled I would feel differently, but this game felt so close until the Texans started running short and time and the Chiefs got to tee off in CJ. If those 2 drives had ended when they should have, we may have had a way better second half of football to watch. I think every fan was robbed.

Then seeing Mahomes flopping looking for yet ANOTHER flag tells me that he knows he is treated as untouchable by the refs which is disgusting. Congrats to the Chiefs. I can acknowledge you most likely would have won anyway - but, the terribles refs definitely taint the game.

Great job! I'm a Chiefs fan and I re-watched the highlights after the game. I saw two plays where the refs helped KC out and did exactly that "nothing happened" whistle. Sorry Houston, those calls didn't change the outcome, but they had to be painful to watch (though no one can claim pain like the Lions fans after that loss to the Commanders).
