I'd need to send both cv signals to a controller that translated them into 5 pin midi so that they would control whatever my program change told them to control, like a Poly Blue Octave, Deja Vibe speed, Volante repeats or turn my SA EQ2 into an Air Wah. The possibilities are insane. I've a friend with the older model Moog Theramin but it's not friendly to my midi pedal board. I remember thinking, wow- that would be so cool if it would talk to my midi controller. Very cool indeed.

Very cool, but I’m a bit bummed that it’s almost double the price of the old Etherwave+ kit without really any new features.

i agree. i bought mine when it was only around $400 and sent for the chip from the netherlands $60, took it to a tv repair place for installation and they put something in backwards and then sent the unit to the moog factory to be modified into a PLUSS $150.they corected the tv repair screw up no charge. .i had to build it like a hot rod over time. but what really brought it all together was the strymon night sky.

I remember my Frostwave theremin controlling my Frostwave Blue Ringer. Surprised Moog have only just gotten to this.

To be fair, the now discontinued Moog Etherwave Plus already had CV and gate outputs, the new Etherwave puts it, probably with some upgrades to the circuit as well in an exterior that's been upgraded as well, like for callibration it isn't needed anymore to open it and it has the new quick mic stand adapter.

Not even close to true. The theremin may be the most difficult of all instruments to play well. He's playing "effects" over sequence here, not actually playing the instrument.
