What a wonderful documentary, Saint Augustine , when younger once said, Make me holy Lord, but not yet, he said that, That the Heart is restless until it rests in Thee , his story is so real and his search for truth, so intricate and The City of God is the ultimate revelation of the eternal home that each human soul was destined for, Malcolm Muggeridge is a man who has trod an extraordinary path towards Christ and I respect his honesty and humility , I've listened to him on many subjects and thank God for witnesses of his authenticity and magnificent intellect .

I find Malcolm Muggeridge too pompous, too arrogant to truly be a true Christian or for that matter, a reliable and impartial narrator.
@grantsmythe8625 Жыл бұрын
It's his "proper" English accent. It has nothing to do with his heart or his spirit. Are you of the opinion that a person must sound as if they are of lower intelligence and less education to be "true Christian".?
@patricklowe5534 Жыл бұрын
@@grantsmythe8625 His accent is not the issue. As to his heart or his spirit, Muggeridge is too much in love with his own voice. And no, I never believed that to be a true Christian one must be of lower intelligence or education. I always believed a true Christian should not be a media show off or a pompous ass or a hypocritical pharisee overjoyed by how pious he sounds, which Muggeridge clearly was.

Christians refrain from judging others; or perhaps since you're of a contrary disposition, you haven't read Matthew 7: 1-2: "Do not judge lest you be judged, for in the way you judge you will be judged, and by your standard of measure it will be measured to you."

@@grantsmythe8625 Grant: As a Christian myself, I've met multitudes of self-righteous, judgmental, so-called Christians, who enjoy casting aspersions at others, and who never refrain from judging others. I respect your attempt to steer this judgmental supposed Christian in a more sound direction.

@@brucknerian9664 It's been my experience that the more Evangelical-leaning a person is, the more likely they are to be deep into judging and rejecting others and throwing certain Bible verses at them.
