Do you actually think you have to go to Mary or to some so-called saint to reach God the Father? I observed the publicity campaign led by a pedophile, a man who had used a girl as a sex slave from the time she was ten, to get a man chosen as a saint. How can you trust those people to choose your saints? Have you never read what the Bible says? Jesus is the only way to the Father. Protestants have been slandered by Catholics who say we don’t love Mary (Here they call her La Virgen.) but I think her memory is just as precious to us as it is to you Catholics. It was locked and chained closed so we sat on the steps and prayed. A couple weeks later she called and said “this is your fault”. Then she told me all her 3 children had come to her separately to ask if they could be Baptized. They were 19, 20 and 21. She also had thought she would return. So the following Easter the children were received into the Church, my daughter confirmed and her marriage blest in the Church. My daughter, who knew nothing about my praying to St. Monica, announced she was taking Monica as her Confirmation name. I was blown away, but thankful to St. Monica.

Unless a man be born again he cannot see the Kingdom of Heaven. We are saved by grace through faith, not by works as the Catholic Church teaches. Please get a King James Version Bible and study for yourself. I was Catholic for decades. There is no peace in the Catholic Church, just guilt of never feeling you have done enough to go to Heaven. God wants you to have peace. It's not possible in the Catholic Church. I know. "Therefore having been justified by FAITH, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ". ~ Romans 5:1 The Catholic church believes they have the authority to add or remove any of God's words from the Bible. God speaks to us through His word. You cannot hear God if you believe man can alter whatever they want. The Catholic Church removed the 2nd Commandment from the Bible. God hates idolatry. Please consider watching "Know Your Enemy" by the fuel project for the whole history and truth. I pray you get free of religion and can be filled with the Holy Spirit by confessing your sins directly to God and asking Jesus to come into your heart so you can have a direct relationship with Jesus May God bless you and reveal the truth so you can have true peace and be free of ritualism, legalism, tradition and be certain of your salvation.

With such empty husks, was I then fed, and yet was not fed" This stuck me so real, it's true that our generation is longing for emotions & experiences. But they will not long forever because they are not meant to long. Everything in this world under the sun is temporary and takes us to vanity at the end. Salvation is such experience which doesn't come from this world but from the above; from the God himself. Keep praying for this generation like St. Monica who relentlessly did for St. Augustine who then inspired the whole world with his writings and Luther is one of those and we all know how Luther reformed the Christian world again. Truly a great mind and person who had been my inspiration to embrace Catholism from protestanism...
@eo21493 жыл бұрын
The teaching of Augustin is actually a rejection of the doctrines that are now signifying Catholicism . Augustin clearly stated that Faith alone (not works and rituals) in Jesus Christ alone as sole mediator between God and man( not His mother who shares in our own sinful nature and is not and never will be part of and necesarry for our salvation) and the Authority of the Word alone ( not the writings and revelations of men as an add on ...such as the Catholics revere more than God's Word ) Augustin feared God and would certainly reject the utterances of the Popes, who usurp the authority of Jesus Christ, who is the Head of the Church and who replaces God the Father by being called "Father". That is why we pray...our Father who is in Heaven!!

@@yahqappu74 you don't even know what the bible teaches to make a claim like this. Do you even know "protectionism" is not a religion. There so many branches under "protestantism". As an ex catholic, cathicolism is a cult. Follow the bible not a man made religion. Catholicism does not preach the biblical way of being born again and they exalt marry to a status that was not mentioned in the bible. Run from that cult bro. Jesus said that unless a man is born again he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Ask God what it means to be born again and why it is by Faith ALONE and not by works

I like a saint with a sense of humor and who believes that God has one too. One of his most quotable prayers includes the plea, "Lord, grant me chastity - but not just yet" (which he wrote during his conversion from "hopeless'' rake to a Doctor of the Catholic Church).

Some saints had a sense of humour. What is most important is that we are always happy with and for God. I’m publishing a weekly KZbin video on episodes from the life of Don Bosco, entitled ST JOHN BOSCO by JOE ZAMMIT. In this series I’m narrating events and miracles from the splendid life of Don Bosco. St John Bosco used to perform a miracle almost every day, through the intercession of Mary Help of Christians. From the lives of saints we can learn how to love God more and draw closer to him. Thank you

@@lucindabunda2106 Yes. St Vincent Ferrer is one of the greatest saints. I'm dealing with St John Bosco. He used to perform a miracle almost every day. Of course, I love and pray to all saints, but to publish a video I chose Don Bosco because I was spiritually attracted to this saint since my childhood. So I looked for this saint. In the case of Padre Pio, he looked for me and brought me from heaven one of the greatest spiritual graces that a human being still living on earth can have. And, according to Padre Pio, I shall enjoy this grace for all eternity. So, if you have a great devotion to St Vincent Ferrer, do keep it, and ask this saint to draw you closer to God.

He was an Amazigh (a Berber), member of the autochthonous population of that vast region which was no Semite nor connected to the Middle Easterners. Many Christian elements remain in the local traditions but few understand their meaning. North Africa was very Christian before the Islamic penetration. The NT has been fixed there. Let's us pray for Berbers to return to the baptism of their ancestors.

He was a Romanized Berber, and was 1/4th ethnic Italian. Italians had been mingling with them for centuries, and with them being the fairest native Africans to begin with, can even now often pass for White Europeans. They were becoming a sane country for awhile, until Hillary Clinton Came, saw, murdered. Now slaves are sold openly, once again. Sigh.

I have been the Duomo of Milan, where the baptismal font of both St Ambrose and that of the person he baptized-Augustine.
