I had the same problem with my kicker 46kmc3. I had the noise plus I had engine noise too. Tried it with a different head unit and as quiet as could be.

should of bought the JL 500/4 powersports amp,, Its a monster and puts out well over 500 watts RMS there is some outstanding tests done on them. I run a fusion ms-ra55 head unit and JL audio 7.7 MX speakers in JL tower tubes and the JL amp... Sounds incredible!!

I'm running the the Dynojet PV3 with the trinity tune. I purchased through Right coast offroad. It works as well as the Vforce John tuned ECU that's on the shelf in my garage, but it doesn't stall out or go into limp mode under wide-open throttle. I have talked to others who had the same problem with the VFJ tune, but I don't think it's super common.
