To you sir it's just a walk. To some of us this is a stress reliever from seeing and hearing so much 🤬. Even on the 📺 it has nothing but crimes and murdering each and every day. Your videos are 100% the opposite. Thank You. Have a 🍺on me 🇺🇲 🇬🇧

Great opening shot with those beautiful blossoms on that tree. Wow, a thousand-year-old village. Shilton looks so beautiful and well kept. I love turning up the volume on your walks to really capture the sounds of the birds saying "Morning". If I read correctly the Church of the Holy Rood are the Norman Nave, south aisle and arcade, all of which were built around 1150... Wow! Such a beautiful and scenic walk through the village of Shilton... Thank You Kevin, have a great Sunday my friend!

Hey Ken, Im so glad you enjoy turning up the volume to fully enjoy the sounds of nature, especially the birds welcoming the morning. It's those little details that make these walks so special isn't it? Your support means a lot to me, and I'm grateful to have you along for the journey. Wishing you a Sunday filled with joy and relaxation, my friend!

Thanks for this. I lived in Shilton as a kid in the 1970s, and had a paper round delivering to about 25 houses after school. This brought back memories of those days. Doesn't seem to have changed too much except for the cars and a few conversions. Back then it was mostly old folks who had lived there forever. Our house was just up beyond where you doubled back to the ford at the bridge over the stream, so couldn't see it this time.

@@KevinTheCountryman Did you see any cars driving through the ford? We dammed it up with sandbags under the little footbridge for a day in 1977 for the Silver Jubilee and had various water games and boating all day. The depth reached almost to the top of that measuring stick you can see there at the edge where cars go in and out.

@nebbs, I didn't see any cars. It was too early in the morning, I guess.

Kevin, you're making my 'Where shall I live when i win the lottery?' decision very difficult! Bisley? Chedworth, Sheepscombe? And now Shilton. The front runner at the moment is Chedworth. Thankyou for another great walk,Kevin. Sunday is complete. Have a great week! ❤

Wonderful beautiful, I always wished I walked the English Countryside after reading William wordsworth, keats and William blake and after watching your videos my dream has come true. Yes , wonderful videos only the music of the birds and occasional singing of brooks and streams, the clear ponds reflecting the majestic standing trees, every patch is green and colourful, you get a feeling at every turn flowers are welcoming you with a smile, as I mentioned earlier no wonder so many English poets were inspired and presented a never ending feast of natures beauty, Just get a feeling that Wordsworth is somewhere round the corner and saying " The green grass As you pass, the cottages and houses standing for thousand years, each with a story of generations, at turns and corners, you are welcomed by smiling flowers, and the singing brooklets and streams, A heaven on earth, a place more beautiful than my dreams. Thank you very much.

Look at these gorgeous blossoms. Amazing. We are still waiting for our tulips. Tulip Festival in Ottawa starts May 10th. It's the second biggest in the world thanks to Dutch royal family, who sends us new varieties every year as a gift of appreciation for housing them during WWII. Can't wait. Right now I'm just enjoying this fantastic village. Thank you 🌺🌻🌷

They are all beautiful historic villages, but there is almost no one outside. Is it because you choose walking time for more peace and quiet, or is it because people really don't go out?

I admire the British people for their character of keeping the primitive antiquities alive. So sadly I say that we people Indians not like that. In this walking I could notsee even a single person stading in the street. I am inspired with a horror movie experience of Hollywood style.
