Not only great looking models, also a nice calm narration voice. Thank you for letting us enjoy.

I really like your feldbahn locomotives. They are so cute! Could you make a video on them? PS: As somebody already mentioned, you should seriously consider 3D printing some of these models, they would look so good!

Thank you so much! I have a video about them planned for later this year.

I found your channel and i enjoy it. I'm dutch and i like our dutch railway 1200 series e-lok's especially the first 1201 now in our national railway museum in it's original paint sceme of 1953 when it rolled out of the production plant. Best regards from the Netherlands, Paul. Looking forward to your new video's.

3:07 Don’t worry, here in the US we have the “Thundercab” SD70ACes. These were the first SD70ACes built and got their name due to how loud the cabs were. BNSF actually doesn’t let Thundercabs lead on their system, though I think they are the only company that does that.
@steelbridgemodels10 ай бұрын
Oh, that's interesting! Then the "Thunder Cans" should be self-explanatory for railfans from the US, after all, as they received that name for the exact same reason.

I've binged all of your vids in one evening and have been loving every second of them! Your models look amazing, they wouldn't look that out of place as placeholder renders for model-railway locomotives in a catalog! As a non German speaker, your videos are great at finding about more tidbit information about German railways and rolling stock because most of that information is in German for obvious reasons. I've picked up a few words here and there but really to the extent that i could actually comprehend what i'm actually reading other than the general gist of it at best. I just found about your channel and instantly fell in love with it! Looking forward for new content!
@steelbridgemodels10 ай бұрын
Thank you so much, your words mean a lot to me! I'm glad my videos are able to get more information about German railways to non-German-speakers. And there are still so many more railway stories to tell!

Can't believe you only have 45 subscribers, this quality of content is usually from youtubers with way more subs. I hope more people find this channel this year

Sorry if you mentioned this, I kept getting distracted looking how nice your renderings are, but I hope you do a video on the Class 24. I have a very old Fleischmann model of one. Actually, it was the "Americanized" version they sold here in the USA many decades ago, but I am rebuilding it back to a Class 24 to pull some of my German cars. I am stunned at how good your renderings are. I was for sure I was looking at a scale model at first!

Thank you so much! A video about the Class 24 will happen sooner or later.

As an American modeller of German railroads(Z scale), I find your content to be insightful regarding some of the things that are normal in germany, but are new to americans. If I might make a suggestion? Eventually a series on each different kind of goods wagen (and an explanation on guard's wagens)😅. I think that would be popular. Thanks😊 .

Would be cool to see Nordic railway stuff too, like how the Rc locomotives took over lile every train in Sweden in the 70-80s.

Should do a tutorial on how to make these stunning models
@steelbridgemodels11 ай бұрын
Thank you! I've been considering a tutorial (series) for a while now, but can't make any promises at the moment.
@Beiditoo11 ай бұрын
Critically underrated channel maybe instead of straight to modeling these models start of with small stuff like stations or signals etc and then work your way up as a series to the big picture which would be the locos. Anyway I respect that it would be a lot to ask but I hop you go ahead with it I think it will pop off as a series.@@steelbridgemodels

The first video of yours that I came across, I thought I was looking at a physical 0 guage model. Not only are they wonderfully detailed, but the lighting is really well done too. Fantastic job! I too would love to see tutorials about your models. I've attempted to model a garret using a combination of instances, arrays and mirror modifiers for the wheels, however it all went rather wrong when I attempted to rotate the wheels.
@steelbridgemodels11 ай бұрын
Thank you so much for your kind words! Proper lighting in Blender took me a long time to figure out, so I'm glad to hear all that trial and error paid off! Apparently, I really need to do a tutorial series some day, haha. But spoked wheels are indeed tricky to do, however, you're definitely on the right track using these modifiers, probably just some settings or object data that needs to be changed.

Can you do some imaginary designs based on the British Railways standards in newer liveries and styling, and the 2-8-2 that became the 9F?

Hey, sag mal, wenn ich mir die ganzen Loknummern so anschaue, dann gibts die doch alle auch von Märklin. Kann es sein, dass du die Modelle nach Märklinmodellen machst?🤔
@steelbridgemodels10 ай бұрын
Ich suche mir die Betriebsnummern anhand von Vorbildfotos heraus. Sicherlich wird Märklin das genauso machen, weshalb es hier und da schonmal zu Überschneidungen kommen kann.
