You can. Get a third gen SR. Closest thing. Mine has the last iron block 4cyl Toyota made. Closest as you can get to the 22re. It even feels like my 1993 pickup

This is not a Tacoma. It’s a fifth generation (89-95) Hilux/Pickup. The Tacoma was not introduced until 1995 which replaced the Hilux/Pickup for the US market. Source: I have one in my driveway right now. This is kind of funny (maybe a tad embarrassing) that the official Toyota account makes the same mistake folks at the parts counter do, confusing the Pickup with the Tacoma.
