The guitar that set the tone of rock and roll. Fantastic video... congrats.

I love Les Pauls. That's the definitive rock 'n roll guitar for me. Still have and play my '92 LP Studio today. I had no idea it would have any greater meaning or value when I bought it 30 years ago. I can testify to the "good wood era" claim though. It's been through the worst of times and falls over the years. It never cracked or broke and still plays great. I'll never sell it but I want a 60's Standard Bourbon Burst real bad. Always wanted a Standard and that one does it for me. One of these days.

I've played a ton of Les Pauls over the years of varying rankings, but something about the Studio just hits the spot for me. nice and simple. I regret selling the one I bought back in the early naughts.

Still play my ‘94 LP Classic Premium Plus in rare Cinnamon Burst. Modded with Seth Lover pickups, ‘50’s wiring, and Sperzel locking tuners.

Couple of others I'd like to see here: - Les Paul Studio Baritone (early to mid 2000s /2011-12, very limited run and could be a future collector's edition) - Les Paul BFG (late 2000s: combination of different pickup configuration and construction not seen as a 'standard' Gibson model) - Les Paul Ultima (late 2000s I think: higher grade than a Supreme, Custom Shop model without compromise)

Les Paul Deluxes are my favorites. I remember when they were around a thousand bucks on the used market. Guess that means I'm getting old.

Also the somewhat recent custom shop les Paul special double cut figured top. Which is a mouthful but is a double cut les paul special shape from the early 60s but with stop tail/Abr -1 and a flat flame maple top and binding. They are pretty awesome as well

I think the TV yellow was used instead of white guitars because on B&W televisions the white reflected to much light from the spotlights under-exposing the rest or over-exposing the white. Yellow looked still more or less as white without causing exposure problems

Nothing came close to the ‘1968 black beauty I owned for 20 years. I regrettably sold it in 2005. One of the dumbest things I’ve ever done. 😢. Considering I paid $350.00 for it from a friend back in 1985. That guitar played like creamy melting butter.
