For all those additional doubts/concerns: The bike shown in this video is Hero Honda/ Hero HUNK with Honda's CBF150 engine (Gem of an engine) which is same across HUNK/CBZ/ACHIEVER/UNICORN.Valve clearance values for this engine are exhaust (0.12)mm and inlet (0.08)mm. Feeler gauge with 0.12 blade is little hard to find, as most of the sets have 0.13 blade. And valve timing to be set to TOP DEAD CENTER (TDC at compression stroke or second stroke in any 4 stroke engine). There will be some marking on the timing chain sprocket and on the magnet. SRG ( Self Repair Guruji) , is doing a fabulous job by bringing all such detailed experience sharing. Kindly encourage.

Bajaj Pulsar 135 LS 2017 Model Intake: 0.05mm, Exhaust: 0.10mm And please make sure that piston is at TDC, T should be visible on top on timing gear sprocket and T should also be visible on magnet flywheel, you can see that through small opening which is covered by a nut or sometimes has a clear glass window. And your engine should be cold (left off for 12 hours or more) before you do this setting. This is something I would never get it done from any mechanic because I can do it myself and they don't do it properly, it is very easy, thanks to this video and many others on KZbin!

​@Techy solo Cutz one of the causes for over heat is over tighten exhaust valve, which cause the exhaust gas to leak in the head area and ultimately cause engine heat. I will advise to check the valve clearance by using a proper feeler gauge of 0.18mm for exhaust and 0.8mm for intake.

Deepak Thapa, TDC ka matlab hota hai, Top Dead Center. Top dead center (TDC) us position ko kehte hain jab piston jo hai wo cylinder me ekdum upar hota hai, matlab piston ki wo position jaha pe ab wo aur upar nahi jaa sakta. Aise hi ek term BDC hota hai, BDC ka matlab Bottom Dead Center, is position me piston ekdum neeche hota hai aur wo usse neeche nahi jaa sakta. Vikas ne jo kaha wo ekdum sahi hai, aapko valve ko tabhi set karna hai jab aapka piston Top Dead Center (TDC) ki position pe ho nahi to aapko engine ki poori efficiency nahi milegi.

Pasand ni aya sir. Kyunki apne yeh to btaya hi nahi ki pehle cam shaft ko sahi position me lana he adjust karne se pehle.. kahi apke viewer gadbad na karde sir. Aur ap ne yeh bhi ni btaya ki compression stroke par set karte he. Could have been a lot better video. Kher. Mene service centre se pucha tha value so me share kar deta hu... For activa/dio/aviator old model(102cc) inlet and outlet is .14mm(for both). For activa/aviator/dio mew model(110cc) .16mm(for both) and for activa 125cc inlet .16mm and outlet .25mm. as per old manual of activa(102cc) +- .02mm tak chalta he error. Vese bhi its not necessary ki feeler gauge mr exact measure ka strip ho ya feeler gauge ka manufacturing itna sateek ho. Par jo mene value di he its 100% confirmed.

Honda Activa 125 Bs6 valve clearance as per service mannual - IN: 0.08 mm EX: 0.25 mm For best results put 0.01 more only and only on EX valve. Result Little more engine free running and less heat. Tik tik sound will come only if engine too much heat by hard riding or heavy traffic. It will gone once temparature drop.👍

better take the average value, so for inlet valve set it at 0.06mm and for outlet valve set it at 0.14mm dont go for the end value setting like 0.08mm for inlet and 0.16mm for exhaust because after few months the settings will go out of range due to wear and tear and then engine will make kit kit kit sound

Sirji meri bike cbz xtreme hai, karib 6 months se wo chal nhi rhi qki mai usey chala nhi rha tha. Fir jab mene use start karna chaha to nhi hui, qki battery discharge ho chuki thi, isliye use dhakka marke start karna pada. Lekin us din se engine me tik-tik ki awaz aati hai, kya wajah ho skti hai, aap btaoge to badi help hogi. Usse pehle kabhi tik-tik ki awaz nhi aai. Mai bike 50-60 se upar nhi chalata aur abhi wo chali bhi 13000 km hi he.

Tahe valvue was sounding many times i have my aprilla sr 150 how fix that problem in my bike and the show room telll the value was a good many Times sound was coming my sr 150

Sir humari bike passion pro hai eski tipid set huyi per without gaze ki lekin sound to thik hai but pick up nhi pakad rhi hai Aur humari chain sprocket shaft me kuchh dhili hai kya aisa rehta hai

Hi sir maine honda shine sp ka taippep set karaya tha bina feelar gauge se hi set kiya tha. Lekin jb subah me bike chalu karte hi to thik se chalu nahi ho pata. Jb jor se sletter dete hi tab thik rahta hi kise thik kare pls.

Bhai mere bike pulsar 220 me half engine work ki but vibration bohot hai to nuksan to nahi hoga na🙄 our tappit dille rakhe he to koi nuksan to nahi hoga
