A to Z Lure Making Tutorial. Balsa Minnows part one

For this video I choose to make 3 minnows. I looking for a classic 7cm minnow with a narrow vibration and a moderate rolling. Keep close for the second part because it's gonna be great.

To accurately mark and set the eyes, I pierce the needle through the bait. And then I use Wood Brad Drill and carefully shape the seats of the same depth with my hands. I also do this after impregnating the bait with varnish or epoxy resin, due to this, the balsa crumbles less.

I don't know what metal.grid do you refere. That from the xacto knife or you are asking about the mesh. Because the mesh I'm using it's not metallic. Be more specific and I will answer with pleasure.

Nice video. Can you please tell me what type of plastic you use in your sealer. I tried polystyrene but it it just turned into a gooey mess like chewing gum.

Buddy,you can buy sealer from the store or online.. I don't know the name of that plastic..

I had use Styrofoam and it solved completely in nitro thinner. The result was a slightly yellowish liquid which viscosity depend on the plastic quantity. The surface of the piece of balsa scrap I had use for testing became a little bit harder after solvent evaporation but I don't know if the plastic did penetrate enough.

Linseed oil works for wood baits. What I'm using its a plastic melted in acetone and I added a white pigment.

Salut! E solutia in care impermeabilizez eu lemnul. E facuta de mine. Am topit plastic in acetona si am adaugat pigment alb. Gasesti solutii si inncomert o gramada.

Foarte frumos lucrat maiestre . Poți să-mi spui te rog cu ce ai lipit sîrma cu lestul de plumb pe care ai băgat-o în vobler . Aștept in continuare noi video cu năluci dar și cu partide de pescuit. Toate cele bune .
