The impossible brand is for people who don’t want to eat meat due to ethical reasons. It’s their choice. Yes not sustainable or healthy but again their choice. The crazy thing about this is that vegans won’t ever go to Burger King due to ethics so why bother offering this except for the very few allergic to beef (there are a few out there)

Idk. Personally, I wouldn't really care when fast food places mess my order up in the drive through. The part that bothers me, is when I go back around to get it fixed, they ALWAYS talk down to me. When I was a fast food employee, I found it really embarrassing to make a mistake and was always very apologetic. I feel like these days, they almost look down on you for wanting to get it fixed. If it's a Karen cussing you out and screaming, sure give an attitude then, but when someone is very respectfully asking for what they paid for, how can you be mad at someone for your own mistake

@@baruchbenyaakov My local Wendy's can take a while, but they are usually solid. I don't mind a reasonable wait as long as it is correct, and fresh. Arby's leaves an item or two out of my oder literally every time I go. BK is always burnt, MCD is always Mediocre. But to me the worst offender in the entire fast food industry right now is taco bell. I refuse to go anymore. I've had times where I went around 3 times, then got rudly told to go in and they snatched the phone out of my wifes hand to read the mobile order as they made it, while making remarks and scoffing about our order. After all that, we still had chips and cheese missing. Making a mistake is fine. We aren't machines. But have some empathy, especially when the person looking you in your eyes is trying to do the same for you.

Bro I have this same problem every single time, and the worst part around my area is that the frequency of slip-ups on orders has also increased while the attitudes decreased. I no longer show much sympathy when I ask for the correct order, but I always return respect when reciprocated. Had a couple super polite workers handling these things but too many of them are just hateful for their own mistakes. Absolutely pathetic.

Typical Burger King run unfortunately. I remember when I was a little kid, going to Burger King used to be this awesome treat like in the late 90s and early 00s. And in the past few years it seems whenever I make the mistake of going there something is always wrong. I feel like the inconsistency of the service is a real issue now. For instance even though Mcdonalds isn't very exciting or innovative compared to some of their competitors, there's a real consistency from location to location in regards to my expectations and what I actually get, which is a real strength compared to a chain that somehow is reliably unreliable across a lot of locations...

I remember asking a cashier once if they were still serving it since it was sort of a limited run and he told me "as long as there is anger in the world, there will always be an angry whopper". The McDonald’s in my town never gets my order wrong. It’s the best fast food place here. The Taco Bell is second and the others are just to be avoided. Especially the DQ. It has to be the worst Dairy Queen in the country. Never experienced anything like it and it’s been that way for YEARS.

What really gets me is the price difference. You're paying like 20-30% more for a Burger King meal than a McDonalds one (not mentioning that portions in terms of fries, etc, are smaller), and the quality is worse every time I've wasted my time going there.

The Burger King I lived nearby as a kid was always the worst place in town as long as I can remember. 90% of the time the orders were either wrong or straight up cold. People seem to be getting differently processed impossible meat. Either its made differently, stored improperly, or grilled wrong. Some people love it, but I've straight up gotten burnt meat twice. And their burgers are usually never done wrong. I know people have different taste buds, but 1) I'm not that picky and 2) You can't tell me you enjoy a burnt taste. I can't figure it out.

The Impossible brand "meats" are much different than Beyond brand (I think what KFC used). The Impossible tastes and "bleeds" more like beef IMO. I think the Beyond tastes and smells like chemicals.

The issue with the Impossible Burgers is that they prepare them on the same grill the regular burgers are prepared so there is cross-contamination. They say they will prepare it on a separate grill if you request it. Tbh, they taste pretty good but maybe it’s from the juices from the regular burger soaking into the Impossible Burger.

I totally understand what you are saying but i must say its a bit bold of you to assume that everyone that works in the Fast Food industry has no pride in their job and what they do. A lot of young people get their first jobs at Fast Foods because you don’t need a lot of experience and if you care enough you can get better positions that a lot of times come along with a raise in pay. It seems like you are generalizing the issue and shit talking minimum wage workers that have nothing to do with his order being sent out wrong. I worked at Starbucks for a long time which is basically a fast food and i took a lot of pride in my job and even got a position as a Barista Trainer that paid me $17 per hour. I initially started at $10. There was baristas that didn’t give a fuck, but there was a lot of us who did. Just saying.

So I'm a cook at Red Robin and while it's not Burger King we do still serve Impossible patties, likely the same exact ones BK does. That being said, they _are_ prepared in a such a way that they don't come in contact with the meat or the surfaces the meat touches. It's not much but the Impossible patties sit on a piece of foil which they also get grilled and char broiled on, which does keep them separate. FWIW the veggie patties at RR aren't. They get put on a flat top grill which also has eggs and stuff prepared on it.

People that haven't cooked just don't understand how much of a pain it is to prepare veg/allergy in between regular orders. Never saw the foil trick, good idea. The concept of total separation from animal products while ordering from a fast food place is naive at best. Even at a good restaurant you take your chances.

@@fallintree8806 That's fair. As far as I know the Impossible patties come with the foil under them. Again though, I don't know exactly how the franchising works with either restaurant and I'm guessing they're probably not even related business anyway so I'm guessing it's possible (ha) that BK gets different patties than RR does, meaning they're prepared differently and don't have the foil.

At the beginning of the year, a Burger Kind location had an incident where a customer had a dispute with an employee at the drive thru window, the customer threw mayonnaise at the employee, they are not clear if it was in a packet or not. Some employees do not tolerate disrespect. She proceeded to exit the store and walk to her car where she grabbed a handgun and emptied the magazine at the customers now fleeing car. Burger King was faced with a dilemma, what can they do? I heard they are considering a new slogan. Burger King "Take what we give you, or get a cap in your ass".

One time I was waiting in line at BK, and someone who was served a few cars before me got so angry that he precariously backed up his car in the adjacent one-way lane next to me and starts yelling to me about how I need to make sure I check my order because they got his wrong twice. Forgetting I'm next to the speaker waiting to give my order, I say "Yeah, they are fucking idiots here". Whoops, but totally true. They always fuck everything up, but yet there I was.

I've tried to order from burger King on 4 occasions.. even though I was the only customer every time I've had to pull up and wait.. even for just 2 lemonade drinks! And they got the order wrong 3 out of 4 times.. I'm not the only person noticing this.. BK in a different town was so slow, on his lunch break, he pulled out of the driveway and went back to work without eating..wtf Burger King? My mom thinks it's staff shortage..I saw an adequate admit of employees and they weren't teenagers.. might make a good video to find out why BK can't get it together..Sonic is another one. Although not as consistently bad as BK'S service

For me, taco bell is the biggest offender of this. The taco bell next to my house has never got my order right, and they take forever to make it (20 minutes when it's not busy). On top of that, it seems like they just haphazardly throw it together. The yelp reviews are hilarious, though.

I've found that across all the fast food chains they've all become a lot less consistent and lower quality compared to years ago. I'm sticking to the more expensive fast casual restaurants now, I think the issue is poor restaurant management and poor training programs on top of other things.

I still enjoy a fast food "burger" for its unique non beef taste. Also 100% pure lean, gross dry burger lmfao. I'm very happy BK taste nothing like actual disgusting 100% lean beef. Need 90/10 95/5 beef for an actual good burger. What wrong with your taste buds?

I've had the Impossible Whopper. I thought it tasted quite good, and came close to meat flavor. I don't know where our host resides, but if he's near a Whataburger, they just released a new blue cheese bacon burger with peppercorn spread, a limited-time item. I tried it last night, and it was very good. They also have a limited-time banana pudding shake. Also very good!
