I also like that when Officer Nolan shot in self-defense, T.O. Bishop said he’s now a murder suspect. And also while they made a close-up shot on John Nolan’s weapon you could clearly see that’s it’s a prop. I also love the occasional holster hoods being down for no reason, creating a huge risk for the officers. Even Tim Bradford does it later in the show.

I felt Nolan. I was once the old one in another way of my life. After working for years and after an accident not being able to do so anymore, I want back to school to earn my school certificate and go further to university. I was no cop like Nolan, but I was the old one, noone believed in. After I got my certificate my class teacher apologized for thinking that I was just an obstacle for the rest of the class. She never thought, I might end up as the best of the class, but so I did, only one with the perfect grade at the end. This show feels the same way. Noone believes in Nolan at the start but he becomes one of the best.
