Hey Elaine, I’m sorry you had trouble with the appointments. . Yes my clinic I go to is hour away so I try to schedule my rheumatologist, Pulmonary tests , CT scan , and actual Pulmonologist dr appointment at same day. My doctors are good to work with scheduling on same day and if they see I’m gonna be late because they are running late they will call over to next appointment and tell them. The pulmonologist is usually the one running late so we make it last. That was mean of them to say you was late at 9:01🤨.

I can’t believe that. They chronically run late at every hospital appt here… they post it on a screen how late the drs are running. ❤

I'm so sorry Elaine that you ran into one of THOSE types. Why someone like that would work around sick people is a mystery. I think I mentioned that I have been an R.N. for many years. Well after covid put me in a wheelchair I had to take the special bus to a test...at the same hospital I had worked at for 20 years. The driver wheeled me to the sign in desk and walked away. He was almost at the door. I was right in front of the receptionist. She kind of leaned around me and yelled at the bus driver "Hey! Can she sign her name?" I was dressed decently and had combed my hair etc. I felt my face burn and could not speak as I was trying not to cry. I didn't say anything but wish I had for the sake of the next person she would humiliate. I still think about this. The woman you ran into probably had poor self esteem and felt important when she was was rude. So anyway, go give Wednesday a cuddle and thank God for David and Wednesday!!

I had one of those days yesterday, when my test cancel due to radiology family emergency the guy on the phone was so rude as it was my fault to reschedule. Never mind now it is put off for another 2 weeks and I had prepared and fasted for testing.

I’m sorry you had to go through that, along with everything else you have to deal with. That man is in the wrong profession it should be removed. Still, you bounce right back with your wonderful attitude. Good for you. On a different note, can you share how you get through an MRI, especially when the mask has to be used? I’m also claustrophobic and I have to take a sedative to get through it and practically asleep. I know this is not ideal so if you have any hints, I would appreciate hearing them.
