Several methods of fabrication of the polygonal masonry using clay/gypsum replicas, a topography translator, and reduced clay models of the stone blocks along with a 3D-pantograph are described in the article “Fabrication methods of the polygonal masonry of large tightly-fitted stone blocks with curved surface interfaces in megalithic structures of Peru”. +Karl Mckernan I was at Machu Picchu and your observation is an excellent one. It is entirely possible to fall off of Machu Picchu! There are areas with incredibly narrow trails or with very steep steps, no guardrail and a steep crevasse below. Here in the USA as well there would be safety rails and half the site would be restricted.

That was really awesome! I loved the video. I particularly liked the parts of the video where you were alone without the hordes of tourists. Machu Picchu is overwhelming and I think it takes some time to really appreciate not only the grandeur of the place but the simply mind-blowing stone work and the brilliance of the Incas to build a truly spectacular site. Hundreds of years after it was built it remains the among the most desired places to visit on the entire planet!
@GabrielTravelerVideos9 жыл бұрын
Definitely mind-blowing what they created there.

How long did it take you to really enjoy the site? Did you buy a basic ticket? Do you recommend visiting the ruins morning or afternoon? Thanks.
@GabrielTravelerVideos9 жыл бұрын
I'm not entirely sure how long I was there, but I think maybe 4 hours? I think it's better to get there early in the morning, when there are less people. But to some extent it really just depends on your luck with the weather. It rained the day before and the day after so yeah, I lucked out with the weather for sure. And yes I got the basic ticket which was 128 soles or about $40 USD. The ticket to hike the peaks nearby was more expensive but not much more. I was too late though because they have a limited quota.

This site was built with megalithic poured stones maybe some 44,000 years ago. Well you can see the original construction in the granite blocks poured as blocks from stone material into its place in the walls and even today you can not put a blade between them so mortar was not needed. The Giant Pyramid of Egypt was built around the same time, all of this can be confirmed but if you have never used concrete in this way, you may not see it but it can be explained very easily.
@GabrielTravelerVideos8 жыл бұрын
Very interesting! I do think it's very likely that many of these sites are much older than believed, though I haven't looked into the alternative theories about Machu Picchu specifically. One place I'm very interested to visit is the Bosnian pyramids, which certainly sound as if they are very ancient.
@yishaidavidi88338 жыл бұрын
The Earth when first made was not at a tilt as one sees on the world stones and man is what we as spirits live in these breathing called Nephesh. Creator our parent built for us about 6000 years ago with the first humans created as He said. The megaliths are very old about 4400 years old the stone created pourable by Creator for the habitations for Him and those the Messangers or in English called the Angelic host that when seen shine as balls of light our brothers and sisters, coming before us on Earth our home now, that are with us here and now all around us. Spirits as well.I am scratching the surface of knowledge. Things the Posers have never seen they have never seen Creator. Lets sit and talk of truth. SALOM:)

@GabrielTravelerVideos7 жыл бұрын
Jason, sorry but you've illustrated that you don't know much about the history of Machu Picchu. First, the Spanish Conquistadors of 500 years ago aren't "my people". I'm from the United States and my family immigrated there from Great Britain and Italy. Second, even the Spanish didn't destroy Machu Picchu. As I explained in this video, the Spanish never even found it. Nobody destroyed Machu Picchu. It was abandoned by the Incas (most likely due to the arrival of the Spanish) and then no one occupied the city for 500 years. It wasn't destroyed, it simply fell apart and became overgrown after centuries of being abandoned.
