I love the water. it's so calming with no tourist about. It was Sept of 2002 I was here. People were here and there but not really crowded . ..... And definitely not gloriously deserted like your visit. I love the bus.

It's fun touring virtually with you in the "bread mobile" the Greek island. For those who don't like crowds Mykonos is almost a paradise now, if only this crystal clear water was little warmer. Enjoy the beaches almost exclusively to yourself.

Years ago university in Greece was free to anybody provided you learned to speak the Greek language. A co-worker of mine did that in the 1970's. I don't know if that program is still available.

A pretty good Hollywood movie was shot in Mykonos, Shirley Valentine. There's a sign on Agios Ionnis Beach where the movie was shot. Many tourists take pictures of themselves standing next to that sign.

Hi man! Don't know if you've decided where to go next but, since you are in Greece, how about making a tour of the Peloponnese? Take the ferry back to Athens and then the bus. You can do it clockwise: from Athens to Nafplio, then to Monemvassia, then to Sparta and Mystras, then to the Mani Peninsula, then Kalamata and Ancient Messene, then Koroni, Methoni and Pylos with Voidokoilia beach which I am sure you will love, then ancient Olympia and finally Patras where you can take the boat for Italy... You can't do all that only with the bus though, you'll need to either hitchhike or rent a car for some parts. Anyway, if you think this is too much, you can go to Athens and then somewhere simpler, like Meteora. Btw, in some of the beaches you visited in this video, in the summer people pay 80€ for a sunbed 😂😱

I saw a lot of those parts of Greece on my first trip when I was 18, including the Peloponnese, Meteora, climbed Mt. Olympus, Thessaloniki, etc. I decided to make it a quick trip this time, in particular because it was too cold for swimming, so I flew out of Athens a couple days ago to somewhere colder but really interesting. I will definitely return to Greece to explore more another time.

Hi Gabriel I have been enjoying your adventures for years I follow a lot of Vloggers doing similar things, I enjoy yours as you go to places that are off the beaten track so to speak even showing us water taps without a knob lol Mate your spending the $$$$ traveling but I have to say your camera is letting you down big time, I know you don't go expensive and you can only do what you can do but it will pay huge dividends as many Vloggers have stepped up with better equipment and it is so much more enjoyable to view. Damn, just viewed this video... I must have missed it.. Amazing... the water is crystal clear even in Winter... I was there in 2017, in the warmer months (Yes people everywhere - it's way too busy) .. I walked from Mykonos City to Super Paradise beach, got drunk there at a beach bar and still managed to walk back the next morning LOL... Sadly, too touristy in Summer and extremely expensive for pretty much everything compared to a nearby island like Syros, where everything was around half the price... Safe Travels Gabe *Greg*

Hi, the beach that you thought was Ayios Yannis (or Aghios Ioannis) is actually Platys Yialos. The old bus behind Paradise Beach has been there about 15 years. Pinky Beach isn't the name of a beach, it's just the name of a bar and set of sunbeds on Super Paradise Beach. Most of the beaches you found are wall to wall with umbrellas and sunbeds in the summer.

I've now seen the end of the video. I don't think Ftelia beach and some of the other beaches that face north will get cleaned up. You'll notice there are no bars, shops, restaurants there because nobody uses north-facing beaches. In summer there's quite often a northerly wind which makes it uncomfortable for sunbathing. I first came across your vlogs when I saw the one you made on Anafi a few years ago. Keep up the good work!

You just can't imagine how busy and expensive it gets! All the celebrities, the famous and the "want to be" famous, the yachts and the mega yachts. There are parties in which the entrance costs 500 - 5000 Euros. The most expensive place in all Greece. There's a lot of other islands near by with beaches like this for quite vacation or for party .

Yeah, but I'm sure they look a lot better in the summer. In the winter there are storms that wash stuff up but no one is swimming, so there isn't much reason to clean them up. I'm guessing they get cleaned up during the spring and summer considering that tourism is what the island depends on.

Mykonos is just about the least representative Greek Island you could visit. It has a micro economy based on millionaire property owners exploiting the gullible who think they are getting an "authentic" Greek experience. They are not! Nor are you supporting the Greek economy by going there, except for perhaps a few workers who migrate there from Athens and the mainland for the summer.
