I love all of Gabriel's videos! Always so well done, informative, and friendly. Gabriel, is Greece your favorite country of all? I'm not sure, but it seems like you have more videos from Greece than anywhere else. I have always wanted to go go Greece, and your videos have ignited that wish even more! I'm not really a "water-person" (I don't really like swimming), but wow! That ocean water is so crystal clear and blue, just beautiful! The hard part for me would be deciding where to go in Greece! There are so many islands and little towns, and so many interesting archaeological sites.

Kos was one of their cheaper ones. For 12 October they have a flight to Barcelona for €37,99. Return on the 17th for the same amount, but on the 21st it's €89,99! @@GabrielTravelerVideos He was on the team that translated the Dead Sea Scrolls. His most controversial book is The Sacred Mushroom and the Cross. It's a fascinating read. Most people think he was some kind of drug advocate but the truth is that he was a highly educated scholar who never used drugs. The main thesis is about exploring possible mistranslations of the bible. Absolutely fascinating, but like I said highly controversial. It is great food for thought especially for someone who has a background in world religion, like yourself.

@@mariats6381 poorly designed city. No excuses.
@helgaioannidis93653 жыл бұрын
@@diogenesstudent5585 I live on a Greek island and this "city" is perfectly designed. No cars will make noise or pollute the air. Furniture and other heavy stuff, just as people, can be transported by donkeys, the streets are designed for donkeys to walk on them. The houses standing close and being all connected to each other provide stability during earthquakes (Greece has a lot of earthquakes, but usually hardly any injuries or deaths due to great engineering). The white colour of the buildings reflects the sun and keeps the inside of the buildings cool. Most traditional houses will have an inside courtyard providing a shady place where you can sit with friends and family. Furniture often is customer designed by a carpenter. Also often wardrobes and shelves are built directly into the walls when the houses are built, saving space and money. If you would have ever lived on a Greek island you would know that the quality of life there is extremely high. There's a reason why people on those islands in average live about 10 years longer than average Americans.
