About Crankshaft Culture:
Crankshaft Culture is all about vehicles, adventures, and automotive culture. We love to explore the diverse landscape of the automotive world. It’s what we do; it’s our passion. We appreciate all forms of car culture. We also believe that no matter our differences in car types or vehicle preferences, all gearheads can be #UnitedByHorsepower.
We love to travel and see the world and we get out as much as we can. We’re into adventure vehicles; vehicles that help you get the most out of life and take you to amazing places to see incredible things. But don’t limit that to a certain type, make, or model. If you can have fun in it, take it on an adventure, that’s what we’re about. That’s where our motto comes from: #EveryVehicleIsAnAdventure.
We’re gearheads, and there’s an entire world of automotive culture out there. Why not explore it? We’re part of the Crankshaft Culture. Are you?

These vans were very popular in Australia when they were first released. Not just for families but also as a work horse. They are still plentiful on Australian roads and 4WD tracks. When Mitsubishi stopped importing these to Australia it was a great loss. They still make a great 4WD van called. D5. Bigger and more sturdy on the road or on the rough. I would suggest to keep an eye open for one of these.. Love Mitsubishi.

Cool van. Just love it. Minds me of the VW Vanagons and Toyota Previas. Had an 86 Safari van I used for camping and hauling stuff. Enjoy your videos. Keep on Exploring.

I was just looking at a couple of these Vans in Sun Valley, Idaho and I'm seriously considering importing one from the importer up there even if it needs a little fixing up that's fine I'm already a diesel mechanic. Hopefully the next couple of years is a good time to save for one.

Love your truck, are parts in the States hard to come by?

Thanks, John! It depends on the parts. Things like belts, and air, oil, and fuel filters can be bought at any parts store, so long as you know the part numbers. Declia.ca and DelicaForum.com are great resources for finding a lot of the consumable parts. More specific things, such as interior bits, suspension components, and so on, may need to come from other places. There are a lot of them in Canada, especially British Columbia, so parts can come from there. However, you may have to get some parts directly from Japan. Thankfully, there are a host of websites that make it pretty easy to obtain them.

Does anyone know if this van is reliable? My friend and I are going to do a 10,000+ mile road trip and I would really like to use one of these, but I don't want to break down All the time.
