My first 4WD was one of these with the 1800cc motor. By the time I sold it, it had done 361000kms and was on its 3rd 5th gear (an issue with some). I put extractors on it and had a diesel Pajero 1st gear fitted and had a lot of fun despite the limitations imposed by the limited wheel travel. You, though, have taken this vehicle up to another level with all your modifications. Thank you for sharing as I still miss my old 4WD van.

That was great. I had one of these exact models in the mid 1990’s. I bought it with 15x8 Sunnies running 31 x 10.5 R 15 BF Goodrich A/T’s It was awesome. Should never have sold it. Bloody thing went everywhere. 🍺

I had same model later year and it had a factory 2.5 l turbo diesel. (Turbo was later changed for aftermarket one that increased performance) It was standing on 295/75 R16 yes the front wheelarch was modified to make this fit which is difficult as the door is in the way as well. All the modifications made it do very well in the terrain. Sold mine also almost with 400000km on the clock. Mayor thing was all the new sound dampning i did which made a huge difference on the road. Although it was a terrain monster it was very comftable to drive on the road up to 140km/h (85miles/h). Top speed was about 165km/h (100miles/h) which is not bad for something as big as a garden shed on wheels.

Fantastic review . Only one more thing i would do if you can is put some sort of roll bar in the cab . i have own a L300 before and have rolled it were the car landed on it roof drive side and flatten it to the door lucky to escape with only miner injury . with Ryan being sow tall it mite be a good safety measure . But love the build great job .

Love your videos but this one didn’t hit your normal high standard for me. The angle of looking at old vehicles does work and the first half of the video was interesting (although I would have liked to see more of the vehicle) but the chat just didn’t seem to come together as well as Ronnie’s modified Q&As. Please take this as it is meant, feedback not criticism and keep on making entertaining informative fun videos.

Im going to disagree on this sorry mate. 4K, Multi camera sequence, good audio, multiple locations, nice edit, custom logo done in photoshop, 80's synthwave music, VHS effect and I couldn't really have showed you anymore of the car. If you didn't like the chat at the end, sorry about that. But I enjoyed it, so did Ryan and majority of other people watching. Its your subjective feedback, but as feedback to your feedback, I disagree with it.

I love your work and thought it might be helpful, clearly it wasnt.Apologies - the message i get from your reply is you dont want well meaning views from people (who have followed you for ages and invariably "like" your videos), that suggest opportinities for improvment but not critisism. You just said "It didn't hit our normal high standard". When I went beyond what I normally do for these. You haven't actually given any ideas for improvement and as I said, if you didn't like the interview format, its not my problem. If I'm going off like to dislike ratio, you're in the 3.4% of people.... That ratio tells me I am on track.
