Another thing I really like about your videos is your choice of music. Most vloggers today use that same type of electronic music that Casey Neistat likes to use. But you instead use more tradicional music from the places you visit. It makes a huge diference. It fells more authentic. Anyways, don't change ... lol.

Now then we can't be having that if we are to have a conversation - and I see no need to 'shut up' as my partner's comment show nothing but admiration Gabriel's determination and achievement. If you took it otherwise and were yourself offended then be assured - no insult was meant. Frankly, your ripe years are impressive too and uncommon to the lifestyle, which we, personally, encourage as one of our deepest fears if to become stagnant, bystanders in life; the fact you haven't gotten stuck is a breath of fresh air. Keep going! :D - Polly

You are so awesome to watch! I love how you focus on budget traveling instead of fancy places. You have been inspiring me for over a year now to go on a year (or longer) backpacking trip around the world! I have lived in Australia and a few other places, but never for more then just a few months. I started a business a year and a half ago to fund my trip. I graduated college and was broke living in my car with my boyfriend. We found a local bagel shop who let us use his kitchen in their off hours at night to get our start. So we started a late night cookie delivery service, living in the parking lot of the bagel shop. It was a huge success and now we have a storefront location (hopefully a second one soon!) And are almost financially stable enough to fund years of travel. We are so excited and it's your channel that keeps me pushing each day to work and make this happen, knowing this type of travel is the end goal! I hope to one day convert my KZbin channel to being a full instead of part time travel channel like yours

Thank you Dephi! It's been a crazy journey but we were already able to travel two months with income and not having to be at our shop! So I know we will be full time travelers in under a year :) I am so excited! For now..I will keep the hustle going :p Once I post all my videos from Iceland (if you haven't been, you must go! It's an incredible country!) Then I will be back on the grind showing the start up of my business until I get to full time travel status :D So pumped!! Keep me updated on my channel how you are doing! I subscribed to yours to stay up dated as well :) Maybe one day we will cross paths!

Thank you!! It's definitely hard to post about two niche because I have the hustlers and entrepreneurs on one end, and the travelers and backpackers on the other end..but we do both so it's pretty nuts lol. I can't wait to just be regularly on travel! I do love entrepreneurship and the hustle of building a business..but travel vlogs are SO MUCH FUN! I love keeping your videos on in the background on my tv while I am working on my laptop to keep inspiring me and reminding me why I'm doing what I'm doing :) If that makes sense!
@Cassiearan
@Cassiearan 5 жыл бұрын
Haha yes! For sure!! I definitely am consistently posting but it's in two different niches..travel and entrepreneurship. So it's hard to build an audience around two things! But I just show all the hustle that is going into me building the business to enable myself to travel full time with income. I love vlogging my travels and did debate on just going and trying to make that my income..but that is really a passion of mine and a hobby and I didn't want to rely on something I love so much to also be my income. So I figured I'd hustle first because I'm really great at business..and then have money coming in so I can be a consistent travel vlogger doing it as a hobby instead of for money..if that makes sense :) Basically I don't want to be stressed doing something I love. So I'm sacrificing some time being an entrepreneur..which honestly..is an incredible and amazingly fun journey on its own. Seeing the business grow from the bagel shop...to a store..and now to a second store soon..to a potential franchise in the future..is incredible :) I am still posting my Iceland series. It was my first spot traveling with income so I was very pumped about it..but I'm putting all my money back into the business so it was very much is a budget travel series..ether way lol I checked out your channel and I am excited to keep in touch! I will be traveling full time soon enough and I would love to meet up with other travelers along the way!

I had some weird misconceptions about Greece, apparently... like it was kinda run down, dirty, where everything were old remains from the 80s or 90s. But of course that was completely wrong. Looks super clean and modern, actually.

Since I have been to Greece so many times and also have done several Island hoppings. Do not buy a ticket near your Hostel or Hotel but buy it as close to the Port as you can. As far as I know in the low season you can buy tickets in the Port or on the ship. Some of the ships are to small to leave with big waves or a strong wind. In that case you have to go back to your ticket office to change to an other company or get a refund. You might miss your connection this way. Don't wait to take a boat at the last moment. Try to be some time before at Paros which is the Hub to get to Athens. Here you can choose between small boats big boats and fast boats Never trust the timetable of boats or Buses at the end of the season. They change without notification. As far as I know you can find a new timetable for buses at the bus station. For Ships it is a different story. They go if there enough demand. Always nice to see your vlogs

Gabriel, You have so much courage to do what you do. Not all of us have so much courage. You posting these videos gives me the opportunity to participate with you in your endeavors. I’ve struggled with courage most of my life and I’ve always wanted to do something like you are doing. I was in the military and stationed in Europe and traveled quite a bit but never had the courage to freestyle like you are doing. I had two opportunities and folded like a wet blanket to do something like this. So, thankful you post these, sometimes... in fact, numerous times when you are hiking or swimming or catching a ferry ⛴ I’m like in the moment with you and feel that sense of freedom and fantastic expectation of traveling. So thanks again for doing what you are doing. You’re heroic and have a kind heart. -j

@@GabrielTravelerVideos Santorini (Oia) seemed insanely busy. Mykonos was starting to pick up. Per all the waiters and hotel staff that I spoke with, the islands are a lot busier or seeing earlier spikes in the travel season as everyone is waking up from the covid hangover. My understanding was May was slow and the spikes came in June/July/August, but you'd probably know more than me. Your videos are always so helpful.

I loved watching this, brought back great memories when I went there two years ago. I couldn’t decide where to stay for the week so split it up into three places Fira, Oia and Perissa. I used to get an afternoon gyro from Grandmas Recipes as I stayed across the road at the Meltemi Village apartments...good times. Out of curiosity, have you ever visited the archaeological site near Red Beach before? I can’t remember from your previous vlogs.
