I’ve seen all of the comparison fact sheets comparing the VR EVO 12S and the Zeon 12s. Those all tilt the scale in favor of the Zeon obviously. What I don’t see mentioned tho, is why the Zeon draws significantly more amps at full load and has a slower line speed (at full load). How is the winch that costs almost half outperforming the “premium” winch at full load?

Two problems. First, how do I know in advance which product is MADE IN USA and which is made in China? That info is not advertised, which is absolutely unacceptable to me. Second, I hear too many complaints about WARN refusing to honor warranty for what amount to some very thin excuses. A brand new winch right out of the box should never fail on first use whether it was bought by a small tow business or an off-road enthusiast.
