So what are the changes between the kit for the 2022 and one for the 23-24? There is a SIGNIFICANT cost difference. Will the 2022 kit fit on a 2024 with only minor changes?

Is this bigger than the zeon 10 or 12? Specifically is it longer? Technically i guess i should ask is it wider. My current zeon just barely fits in my bumper and i had to do some cutting and welding to make it fit. It's an incredibly tight squeeze.

Synthetic rope costs 2/3 as much as steel? (5:24). I thought it was more expensive?

I’m surprised their is no discussion of how easily the uncoated zinc alloy drum corrodes in humid environments. My Zeon winch is one year old and the drum is so corroded chunks of metal fall off when I unspool it. Warn’s lifetime warranty does not cover corrosion, so your only option once the drum fails is to pay $250-$300 for a replacement drum.

Metalic for industrial, workers… if it kills you, your family it’s gonna collect insurance. Nowadays any metal component must be throwed away for recreational use. Sintetic line with a spliced loop, sintetíc shackles,… few garden hose pieces, to pass the line through if it’s gonna rub something… the only thing I use made on metal, cos’ nonody have allready invented a soft one, are pulleys and that’s why I try not to use them, only when there are no other way. Bring a splicer for field repairs. People doesn’t even open the bonnet when winching!!! Most of the time I see someone winching I see people putting not only their lives in danger, but also their relatives and friends. Use your brain, please!

why dont you just walk the winch around the tree and hook it to the line?

Brand new to winching here! This was an excellent video but I have one question…are you in neutral as you pull yourself up the hill? What about when you’re pulling someone else? Is it parking brake only? I’ve heard so many ways to do this but I’d just like the right way so I don’t destroy anything.😂

Good info. But that last one didn't make any sense to me. You didn't need two anchor points to pull your jeep straight ahead. Of course, I understand you were using that scenario to show the use of a snatch block to change directions. But, now if you had been winching the other vehicle backwards, it would have made sense and have been the proper technique. Am I right?

Serious safety issue here. When you are operating your winch from inside the vehicle, you don't stick your head and arm outside the vehicle. All body parts need to be inside. All windows should be closed. When a cable or rope is flying through the air, there is no time to react to move out the way. I'm flabbergasted that Warn thinks it's ok to demonstrate that being half outside of the vehicle in such a dangerous scenario is ok 🤷

Warn testing? Bullshit! Zeon wireless remote is a piece of crap! Only owners know this deep dark secret. Warn denies it. These dipshits never tested it and will will never mention it. Self discharge! Warn hi-tech garbage , be unprepared! 8274 rules.

Do these fit between JL Wrangler frame rails without hacking them up? All recessed winch bumpers seem to require this including fab fours and warn elite bumpers.
