Ed, I've only ever bought two items from KZbinrs. The first was an "A solid 5/10" shirt from Nick Murray (who I think would be quite an entertaining guest on the Vinwiki channel if you ever get the opportunity, and I get the feeling you two would probably get on well), and the second was one of of your very cool vandalised 55 mph signs. I've always wanted one of those signs, so finding out that not only could I buy one from you but also that some of the proceeds would go to charity was just too good an opportunity to pass up. The only downside is that I had to get it shipped to my parents' house in the US rather than directly to me in the UK due to the generally high cost of shipping a heavyish steel plate across an ocean, but on the upside it'll look great under the Christmas tree!

I'm so glad to get the tour of the set! It's been just a sort of background that has so many interesting bits, and on top of that, some good little references to the background during the story like the Oil Pan... Edit: I really like the garage but the echo is a little difficult. I suggest a cheap Røde microphone or one with a little fluff on it that would dampen some of the resonance and even out the sound. You could hold it like a newscaster microphone and it would be a lot easier on my speakers. I get that you've probably figured all that out already, since the echo on VINWiki set is totally gone. And also, thanks for waiting for people to finish watching the VINWiki video before posting this one. Awesome! I love more Ed Content.

Ed's changing the automotive world faster than he realizes. I'm in a BMW ///M owners group, and we've recently had a few of our older members get worked up into a panic. Apparently they've encountered numerous young folks taking pictures of their VIN tags during car shows. I love these stories. They keep me going. I hear these stories about everything that is done to these cars and it makes me feel a little less crazy for throwing thousands of dollars at a Ford Focus with the intentions of putting it on a track one day when it's finished. Really almost anything is possible as long as you're smart enough to plan it out but dumb enough to try it. You just can't be too dumb and start making stupid decisions on the project as a whole or individual aspects and start cutting corners at any point durring the build. And that really goes for anything in life, but sometimes it's the cars that bring you to certain conclusions that may help you in other areas. I appreciate VINWiki, you, the stories, and everything I've been able to learn. Thank you

This is SO COOL .. and SO INSPIRING .. I'm not the only one with all sorts of car bits and pieces sitting about kind of like the items in the VINwiki set .. not the same items of course (no Lambo wheels, but I do have some from a 911!) .. they are similar though in the sense they all have stories behind them, and I'm sure a lot of you out there have too .. probably most of you .. and I'm constantly adding to the collection .. just this last week a clutch plate from a top fuel dragster .. plus some ear plugs I had to reduce the noise from the cars, some of them making up round 150 dB .. and over 10,000 hp .. CRAZY .. one of them hit 322 mph .. in just 1000 ft !!! Happy collecting everybody !!! :-))))))) ...

I always thought of the VIN wiki set as like the Monkees t.v. show sets where things in the background will b there in 1 shot but will be positioned elsewhere or upside-down or gone altogether In the next shot and i just always thought it would be cool to do with ur car stories set. And everyone who is invited to tell a story should have to bring something to contribute to the set as a requirement for having the opportunity to share there story and then as u grow and get more story stuff do another video like this one telling g us the story behind all the new stuff and the ppl may even and probably do have car stories behind the things that they would be contributing which could/should be taped for upcoming car stories. Just a thought. Love this channel I watch every day on my commute keep it up I love u guys
